Ordered 2 cords of fire wood. Got 1.25 cords of firewood .5 cord of wood 12-14” diameter logs 4 wheel barrows of wood chips, rocks and dirt. Stopped in 2 times even dropped off a big log. Management had absolutely no concern “ that’s our unseasoned fire wood” then bragged that they sell 1000 cords a year. I have no use for the 1/2 cord big pieces they don’t fit in my fireplace. Horrible customer service.

I have loved the Battinelli store for so very many years. Every time I go in it's so beautiful and full of treasures. First time using Battinelli Landscaping to extend my patio. Awesome job. Very kind and hard working crew. Great communication. I'm a volunteer at the West Milford Animal Shelter. Battinelli is a continuously huge supporter of the shelter. They are overly generous with donations at all times. Love Battinelli overall and have had nothing but positive experiences for years.

1 star is still to many for this place. We stopped in again to give this place one more try and got the same rude treatment as the last several times we have been in.
If this is how they treat your customers, why are they in business? Obviously the lady behind the counter doesn’t want to be there. Maybe the owners could look into why the people at the counter are so rude and disrespectful. If I was the owner, I’d make this issue a priority.
Hopefully with all the same bad reviews online, the real owners will correct this issue.

I've been a Battinelli customer for many items and deliveries over the years here, but that's going to end today.
Yes, the staff at the store aren't the most polite or friendly. Yeah we used their tree service 2 years ago and the guy backed into a metal pole outlined at the top of my driveway knocking it out of the ground where it had been for 23 years, and crushed the Forsythia there, but I never complained. Nor did I say anything when your worker decided he was going to throw his empty water bottle on the ground in front of my house last week when performing tree removal.
I live in the neighborhood where many disasters occurred because of a microburst storm before the Memorial Day holiday. My family and I have suffered financial setback as have many people here.
The owner, (Mr. Cutoff T-shirt) just decided he was going to back into my driveway (when there clearly is a "turnaround" on our block for FedEx, UPS and the like), but this "Special' privileged person decided he'd use my driveway as his personal turnaround and ignore the fact that YOU are on someone's property!!
Have some respect. You've been on this block all week doing work, there's no need to back into my driveway, peel out digging up my gravel driveway and spraying gravel onto my vehicle (which was already damaged during the storm).
Absolutely will NEVER spend a dollar in your current or new place you are constructing 'til the end of time.
Absolutely no manners. No respect for people's property and now I have none for you and yours. I'll go somewhere else.

BUYER BEWARE! We were shorted with 2 orders of mulch. We have a large property & need a large amount of mulch. (We are well aware of how many yards we need) A small truck was sent for both deliveries which couldn’t even hold the amount we ordered each time. When my husband called them out on it, they claimed they have a larger truck which would hold the capacity we ordered but that is not the truck that was sent. We were shorted at LEAST 10 yards! They did agree to deliver more mulch but part of it was obnoxiously dumped blocking our mailbox. If they are skimming from every order they receive, imagine the fraud taking place!

Had a fantastic experience buying some and gifts for grandkids. Accidentally purchased wrong size shoes and staff was gracious and sent us a replacement pair at no charge. Definitely a great stop! Will be back next year!

I discovered this place by pure happenstance as I was travelling through the area on business and had some time to kill. At the time I lived in NYC and was enjoying the countryside views. I was pleasantly surprised with this boutique gift shop and their Christmas ornaments. All high quality, thoughtful and splendid selections. I only wish they had an online store so I could purchase some more as now I am in Florida.

I need to share a professional and lovely experience at the battinelli boutique . I purchased a beautiful sweater and wore it once , without knowing how ,the sweater pulled and unraveled . A came into the store explained to the young lady who brought it to the owners attention . They inspected it and gave me a new one . This is why I stop weekly at this great boutique. Not only fabulous and Unique clothing but a great customer service always.shop local ladies ❤️❤️
