The guy at the pharmacy on April 8 at 7:40 PM needs a reality check.
First and foremost, don’t speak to me like that. Secondly, when urgent care tells you that this specific Walgreens has had technical communication issues with receiving prescriptions. You are not to get loud and nasty with me. If you didn’t receive the prescription, you can keep your attitude to yourself and tell me my next steps. You are dealing with children that are sick coming from urgent care. No parent needs your nonsense. If you are incapable of dealing with the public, perhaps you should get a new job? The two gentlemen in front of me that stated urgent care sent over the prescriptions and you said no they didn’t, didn’t that raise a red flag that possibly your system is at fault? Perhaps you should put energy into checking this out? You should be ashamed of yourself. How dare you speak to a mother and a father with a sick child the way you did. I really hope you don’t encounter the same nonsense as a parent that you put us through tonight. You are a disgrace. And that’s how I feel about Walgreens.

A pharmacy for all of your medication needs if they don't have an item or sufficient amount of it they will order it for you.
They will contact your physician if you you don't have any existing renewals available on your prescriptions.
They will note any allergies or adverse side effects you may have to a medication.
The pharmacists will dispense vaccines they will try to answer any questions you may have regarding them, how and when you should receive them and explain any side effects that you may endure.
The store has a whole host of items in each section of the store wether it be food, gifts, baby, cosmetics, office supplies, pet products, seasonal, health and beauty, toys, batteries, cleaning supplies etc.
They also have a photo department where you can print photos, order cards, calendars and invitations.
They offer drop off locations for shipping facilities.
They are open 7 days a week for all of your shopping needs so stop on in.

It’s like CVS, but worse.

As someone that use to work as a pharmacy tech for 5 years I know it should not be taking an hour to fill some prescriptions. No wonder all the walgreens are shutting down. Poor customer service.

Apparently the only way to get any customer service at this store is not by waiting patiently, or by going hey, excuse me? But by getting openly annoyed by them all blatantly ignoring you by walking past you clearly waiting in front of photo (where no one was standing) or when you do find someone to ask for help rather than answer you, they start shouting at their coworker down the aisle 80 feet away from them. THEN when you go or not?! That’s when you feel like acknowledging you.

Ms. Mac in the photo department displays phenomenal customer service. She is informative, polite, and a true show of what customer service is all about. She was extremely kind & patient. Even with being short staffed on a busy double holiday weekend ( Super Bowl & Valentine’s Day ). She was one of the best employees I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with at a Walgreens.

I went in for a simple price adjustment when I had the receipt, label to the product, walgreens card, and coupon and the woman immediately shoved me off and wouldn't help me at all because despite telling her I had all of this, she still decided I didn't have any of it and got nasty with me for tying to do a return without any information. I went to 36 in Port Monmouth and they were AMAZING and helped me no problem

Things definitely need to be tightened up in the pharmacy department here. Customer service is definitely lacking. I am sure it requires a lot of patience to be an employee here however they often seem understaffed and give out the wrong information.

I dread when I get the lady with the short blonde hair either at the pharmacy counter or the drive through. The amount of times she has made mistakes or tried to make each pharmacy experience harder is uncountable. They need to hire more and better staff.

Ridiculous to wait 25 minutes on hold just to talk to the pharmacy to ask a question. I don’t know if they’re understaffed or if they’re thing to cut hours to save money but prescriptions take forever to fill, I switched to CVS and everything is so much smoother and faster
