Outside of the staff being totally incompetent
Waited 55 minutes and finally had a walk out even though I had an appointment
The worst part is they don’t give a damn

This place was recommended by our pediatrician for our 1 year old's first bloodwork since birth. We were a bit worried about how she'd handle it, but thanks to the technicians it went great! The whole process took under 20 minutes, which was fantastic. They were really good with our toddler and found a good vein right away. We'll definitely come back here next time.

Terrible!! experience at the lab corp location on Bethany rd in hazlet New Jersey with EVETTE I took my 5 year old son for blood work. She was called in the room to “ assist” I Gave my son my phone to watch youtube to distract him because he was scared. When she entered the room she grabbed it from his hands and said “you won’t be needing that!” I then said well it seems to be helping distract him. She ignored me so when the other woman took his blood my son cried and let out a scream when she put the needle in. ( because he’s 5 years old and that’s what kids do ) she got so mad at him and repeatedly saying oh my god! Wow!! Holding her ears & rolling her eyes. I couldn’t help but ask her if she has ever worked with children before. Because of the way she was acting and her whole mannerism. She said “ yes I have but ain’t no kids ever screamed in my ear the way your son did! “ at that moment my son was horrified I was disgusted with the way she treated him and spoke in front of him. I don’t know how someone with such manners can work with people never mind children! I spoke the the manager after the whole waiting room insisted I did after hearing her and seeing the way this woman acted she acted like she wanted to fight me in the parking lot. Unreal I don’t know how these people have jobs. Also the manager seemed scared of her it was quite amazing but total trash of a place not sure how it’s still open.

Seen on 6/16 at 11am. Dont bring your loved ones here. Brought my newborn son and post partum wife in for newborn blood work. Phlebotomist refused to use his heel and insisted the arm was better and then was unable to draw his blood. Understandable, infants are tricky. At this point my wife became faint and needed to sit. After completing the blood draw on our son she became very pale,we were asked if she wanted something and when we asked for juice they said they dont offer juice or anything with sugar and the dismissed herself. Didn't offer anything else, didn't take her blood pressure or to see if there was a provider they could call. Nothing, just left. A wheelchair was not offered. Lastly as I was walking her out while also carrying my newborn I noticed an exit in the back mere feet from where we parked. When approaching the door I was stopped by the same women and told that exit was for employees. This makes no sense, it's an exit. We were forced to walk around the entire building and parking lot in an obviously distressed state. Standard of car was not met and there was no empathy from the phlebotomist. Retraining/rehiring is needed, this is not ok in any circumstance.

Got there at 6:40 AM on a Friday. I was first in line, but by the time they opened a big line had formed. Everything went smoothly. Very professional staff and the person who drew blood was very skilled. I don’t understand the negative reviews.

I had decided to go here on a Saturday due to work, so I didn’t expect to be seen immediately or get special treatment. I showed up at 6:40am (they open at 7am) and there was a line of about 20 people in front of me. I’m not sure what it’s like on the weekdays, but if you decide to go on a weekend like me, show up as early as you can to wait in line to be seen ASAP. Despite the line in front of me and the line behind me quickly forming up, I had a very pleasant experience. Staff was very professional and caring. No one seemed stressed or irritated that there was a ton of people waiting to be seen. I know that would drive me crazy lol. The woman drawing my blood was so sweet, professional and quick! The whole experience took about an hour and I was out the door by 7:50am. I guess it depends on what you need done, but if it’s just bloodwork, your time there will go quick.

I'm not sure why they have an electronic check-in and then have you check-in at the desk. I feel as though it defeats the purpose. The electronic check-in doesn't que people in the order in which they arrive. You need to have more staff available on Saturdays to meet the demand. You should also have hours past 3 pm during the week to accommodate people who cannot afford to take time off work to do labwork. There is no expectation of privacy as the desk attendant has one volume, and it is shouting

The hours they are available and open are ridiculous. People have to work and can’t get here before 1:30 and latest appointment you can make is only till 12:30.

I have never met someone more rude in my entire life. The woman behind the counter made no eye contact or anything of that matter. The elderly people who walked were given no help from her and she told them to go sit down. I am very disappointed.

Having been to quite a few, the people here are super sweet and personable - and most importantly good at their job (I have very hard to find veins so appreciate techs who can make it easy). Only downside is I don't like being in the same room as others when getting my blood drawn. Would prefer to always be alone. Wait time is OK.

I was there on a Friday morning without an appointment. They checked me in pretty quickly, and I wasn't there all that long before I was done. Front desk staff was very nice. No issues here.

I didn't have to wait long at all. And the girl that took my blood was very helpful. The secret is to not have a appointment. It's faster. Shhhh...... Don't tell anyone. ?
