No complaints about end product. One word of caution - Joe’s demeanor comes across as very trustworthy - don’t be lulled by it - make sure that the deal you make is in writing or you risk being charged for more money in the 11th hour.

i walked into JB Discounters last October, saw a table and bought it on the spot. I also decided on a buffet so I ordered it and Joe told me I could have it by Thanksgiving....it didn't arrive. I followed up several times and it eventually came three months later. I since moved out off he state. Today I get a call from Joe, I explained the above, that I no longer needed it and he denied telling me the buffet would be delivered by Thanksgiving. I said I have no reason to lie, and asked what was going to happen with my deposit. He went on to say that the paper work says if you cancel there's a 30% restocking fee. I told him that he's the one who told me I would have it by Thanksgiving and it's bad business. I have no reason to lie. Joe then says, "yeah like how many times have I heard that". That statement right there is why he gets this review. He basically told me I was lying. I could say the same about him with the missed delivery date. Thats bad business!!! JB "DIS-COUNTERS" is the perfect name. Don't count on the delivery dates given by Joe. TERRIBLE!!

Five stars for this independently owned Dinette sales and upholstery repair store. The Owner and Staff are two thumbs up with their personal, kind, educated and excellent service. My husband and I went there to have an older bar stool repaired. Not an easy fix, but the owner tried a few tricks and it was as good as new! They have a variety of kitchen, dining room and other, furniture that is well made and priced right. The owner has a great personality and you will feel like you are dealing with a friend. Highly recommend this place .

Had 6 dinette chairs reupholstered. Absolutely masterful workmanship. Joe added piping to the bottom of the seat that was not discussed or expected. Fair price and done in a timely manner. An elder man, great skills, and yes, you do need a sense of humor and patience when dealing with Joe. But he is a sweetheart and your finished product will be very pleasing to you.

So far not impressed. After waiting over 6 months for my table and chairs that were pretty expensive, there has been nothing but issues. The table top is very pretty, not the right base. The chairs were not the right finish but they are ok. Unfortunately, the finish on the chair seats after a month starting to come off around the edges. Go figure. Here I thought the chair seats were the wood I picked out, no its only stained to be that. So they have been redone twice and have to be done again. Make sure you read every detail that is written on your receipt before signing it. I will not deal with them again.

I purchased 3 beds from here 2 twins and 1 full. The staff was really good they came and set up all 3 beds and helped me take the others out to the trash. The prices weren't bad either. I'm very happy with the purchases I made there and would go back again.

It's a small store but they have more products to choose from. If they don't have what you are looking for they can get it from the factory. I've gone to many large furniture stores which only had a very limited selection and not much to choose from.

have my MIL's vintage bamboo dining table & chairs that were all loose and needed new seats. JB Discounters replaced all the seats, added new updated covers & tightened and glued where it was needed. This set gets heavy every day use by our family of 4 (with 2 teens) and the chairs are holding up well 2 years after the work he did. Easily spot cleaned with miracle cleaner with no issues. Great business & a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend.
