The staff are friendly enough but my 3 stars is because they have made it nearly impossible to reach the pharmacy department by phone.

This store needs more staff. The cashier just walked away from a line of customers waiting to checkout. It took 10 minutes for someone to replace her.

Pharmacist was nasty and I guess now decides when your scripts are filled. I had a refill that was able and ready to be filled (CVS's app was who reminded me to refill it to begin with) and when it didn't go through I received a call that the pharmacist decided he didn't want to refill it. He made me wait until the next day even though my insurance said that they were willing to fill it and that it wasn't early. I would never go back. I will be returning to my previous pharmacy next month that is 45 minutes out of my way.

I made an appointment with the Minute Clinic for a blood test. I called the clinic immediately after making the appointment to confirm that 1) it’s a blood test and 2) it will test for what I need. Both things were confirmed by the person on the phone. When I arrived to the CVS in Hazlet I was informed that they do not perform the test I need and in regards to my phone call confirmation the nurse said “they just tell people that to get them in here”. Ultimately I was given false information about my health for the sake of profits.

I had such a great experience using the cvs minute clinic and then the pharmacy afterwords in Hazlet. I believe the woman helping me in the pharmacy was named Jody. She was so kind and helpful. Also, the nurse practitioner at the minute clinic was very thorough and knowledgeable. Thank you ladies for a great experience.

CVS is a great place for quick shopping and has a pharmacy to boot. Get all your OTC Meds and more. Not a bad store at all.
