Got eye exam, was great, go to look at lenses and frames get told I'm not allowed to purchase because membership is not in my name...have my wife and mom on the membership list...but it's not worth my time complaining about it because those are the arbitrary rules of this establishment

Overall good experience...Polite staff, they did great job on installing new wheels and tires, but what they charge for 1 TPS monitor you can get 4 on Amazon...Seems a little extreme on the mark up in price ?

Just joined today & although Danielle was very helpful & nice, the food offerings were not. I've seen really nice Costcos on Instagram & this isn't one of them.No ground beef except 88% lean or a small pack of organic. Two dried out rotisserie chickens left on the shelf.Just wanted to add that I shopped in the early afternoon, not at closing.The bakery department was in the back corner in the dark & boy, they didn't have much. A few cakes on the shelves, no hamburger or hot dog buns & bagels that looked like a regular store brand in a 6 pack.The produce section was terrible. walked through the frozen section, but it looked dirty & behind the glass doors boxes were open & food was piled all over & falling over.And there's no rhyme or reason for where the food begins, then clothing, then outdoor furniture, then food again begins & ends. It's as if they just shove stuff anywhere they can. So disorganized, messy & dirty.Now I'm wondering if I did the right thing joining. I do have another Costco a little farther away, so may try there next. But if it's like the Hazlet, NJ location, I'm asking for a refund.

Jes is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. She balanced my wheels precisely and quickly. I had issues of steering wheel vibrations and noise after installing new tires at dealership because they put on wrong weights. Also, Dealership recommended me to change brake pads and do 4 wheel alignment to fix issues which could cost me hundreds of dollars. I went to Costco tire center in Hazlet and they fixed my vibration and noise issues by just doing simple wheel balancing and tire rotation. Thanks Jes and the entire team of Costco Hazlet tire center.

I have been getting separate transactions with separate receipts because I shop for myself as well as a local food bank. I wanted to put the donations on a separate receipt and transaction and all of a sudden they will not let me do that anymore. One of the cashiers claimed "they were laxed during covid so I was able to do it" meanwhile I've been doings separate transactions for the local fire house and food bank for more than ten years. Now Costco has to pay an employee to put all my stuff back because I refused to check out. That's makes a lot of sense Costco. Loose an employee to restock all my frozen and refrigerated stuff and risk stuff melting. Also deprived food bank of the much needed donations in rough times. Great job!!!! Could of just printed two receipts like a paying member requested. Smart.
