I had mistakenly taken a package to this USPS office instead of UPS to be returned. It took a minute for a clerk to come out of the back room and when he did, and he looked like he just woke up. He didn't walk over or say hello or anything. He just stood in the doorway of the backroom about 25 feet way, looked at my box, said, "That's UPS", and went back to the back room. I understand that I made an error but seriously?!? This is considered customer service???

They went full and beyond to get me my package to me when the seller didn't put my full address on it. Thanks Hawthorne post office!!!

I moved to Tennessee, and it took more than two months to receive mail that was sent to me at my Hawthorne address. It should not take nearly that long to forward mail.

And it continues , I don’t get bills/important mail sometimes bc I guess they’re delivered to other homes , must be bc we constantly get other peoples mail, double of ad flyers to a 1 family , double Hawthorne calendars to a 1 family, I’ve complained years ago, and a few more times over the years, nothing changes, I’m always told they’ll have the post master get back to me about these issues , never happens .. When I ask other people from any other town they don’t have these issues , if so it is a very rare occurrence, they say it’s nuts and I must be exaggerating, nope , I’m definitely not ,this towns office is either run horribly or the delivery workers are just this terrible and lack simple reading skills and logic , I have no idea , but it is absolutely ridiculous and very frustrating that it just can’t be fixed.. It’s a hard working job yes , but not difficult at all as far as brains and logic . The address is on the mail , bring to such address in your route, that’s it.

if i could give this place zero stars, i would. lady that works here is completely incompetent and useless. i always ship out the same items and all of a sudden she now tells me i can’t ship something out because its too small and i need an envelope. never coming here again. theres a reason this place is rated so poorly.

Terrible service.Went in there for an address change and they didnt know what to do.They told me to go somewhere else because they can deal with it.Until I said I will wait for the supervisor to arrive then all of the sudden they knew how to deal with it.Horrible service.
