“Well let me start by saying I'm from Alabama and hate that I can't pick this place up and take it with me . From the service ,presentation, to the quality it's top tier. I had a burger from Cj's burgers (one of the best burgers I have ever had) also my husband and I shared a family meal with the whole chicken, ribs, seasoned vegetables, and roasted potatoes. My oh my you talking bout good eating the meat texture and flavor was superb and artistically prepared. New Jersey is blessed to have this jewel in their city.....thanks for such a great experience ? “A little expensive but you get quality for what you pay for so I don't mind it.Their produce is out of this world, always a fantastic quality even during the winter. Some of the best steaks I've ever had have come from here. Great already cooked meal options when needing something quick on the go.For a little store I'm always amazed how many products are here. If you can't find it, ask! It's possible it's just up high somewhere you can't see it or it's in the back.”

“Finding a good hot dog/sausage is much harder than you would think. This place is a good solution for that. It's a little stand outside of a butcher shop. There is a line basically all of the time. Is it earth shattering? No. But if you want a brat and want it grilled up nicely, this is your place. Kielbasa is $10. It's huge, pretty good but skip it for something else like the brat. The brat is $4. Worth it.”

“I purchased a 16 lb turkey and a 12 lb turkey breast for thanksgiving, however due to family members having covid and not being able to attend dinner, I put the turkey breast in the freezer and I just re-did thanksgiving dinner for my family that could'nt make it in November. Hands down, thee BEST turkey breast ever!!! Everyone raved about it for days!!. Most friendly staff is the extra bonus... Thanks again, for the best quality of meat. See you soon.”

“Old-school Italian butcher & deli! They make their own sausage & fresh mozzarella! Grabbed lunch - ordered The Naples sandwich: Chicken cutlet, imported prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, broccoli rabe, roasted peppers, extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The bread was awesome (this usually makes or breaks a great sandwich). Everything was fresh, clean, and delicious. Owner & his wife were super friendly. Their stuffed breads were cut in half; they were stuffed to the max. I can't wait to return & try other things here! Purchased some fresh mozzarella & some treat for home too.”
“If you're polish you will find everything you may need here - just like back home. Including some cosmetics, magazines and medicines. Selection is huge for a pretty small place. Meats, cheeses and cold cuts are top quality. They also have hot food which is way better than in most Polish restaurants in the area. Selection includes soups and desserts. Perfect place to get your polish supplies or to experience Polish homemade food.”

“This store is really special, and has easily grown into one of my top three favorite spots in Montclair. It certainly has the feel of days gone by in all the best of ways. The food is fresh, they have an immaculate menu of sandwiches (and this includes for vegetarians!) and ready-mades. They also have a really fantastic, specialized selection of dried pastas, snacks, sauces, jams, etc. My husband and I went for the first time earlier this month and we were really blown away by this gem. The staff and (who I presumed to be) the owner are courteous, clearly work hard, and are friendly. I asked for several different sandwiches, half a pound of their homemade turkey breast, and some premades, and it seemed to be during a rush hour. I had a question about their selections, and while the staff that was helping me didn't know the answer, she didn't blow over it and instead made sure to check with the owner. This was in the middle of rush hour and there was a strong and consistent line of people; the owner, in spite of all the running around and multitasking, made sure to get me an answer and responded in such a kind and friendly way. It really made me nostalgic for more specialty stores that are run by actual people instead of a generic, mass marketed, one stop capitalist shop. Truly, Rosario's reinforces the ideology of 'shop local.' Highly recommend!”
