“We purchased rather high end bathroom faucets from Henry's when we built our home almost twenty years ago. In recent months the hot water valves began to leak a bit around their bases. Our plumber felt that the best course of action was to replace all four of our faucets with new ones. His feeling was that the high mineral count in our local water would just make the matter worse. We went to Henry's with the intent to purchase all four faucet units. The price approached $3000 for quality faucets. When one of their plumbing sales people heard our story, he suggested just replacing the hot water cartridge and demonstrated the ease of doing so. He suggested we call the plumber back or get a new plumber who should simply replace the hot water cartridges. We contacted our plumber and asked that he try the replacement cartridges first in hopes that it will do the trick. He agreed to do so but felt that the heavy mineral content me have caused the connecting surfaces to become rough and compromise the new cartridges. We decided to take the chance in light of the cost of all new faucets. If it doesn't work out, we will certainly return to Henry's for the four faucet units. I appreciate their honesty.”
