I was in the need of a medicine that a Compounding Pharmacy could make. I called Haworth Apothecary 4 days ago and checked if they could do it. Somebody from Pharmacy dept said they could do it by ordering to their supplier, and received my personal info to enter into their system. Upon getting confirmation from the Pharmacy, I gave their contact info to my doctor. My Doctor said they faxed the prescription yesterday. I called the Pharmacy a few minutes ago to check if they received the fax and when could I get my medicine. Responder (I think her name was Mariah per my best memory) was extremely rude and mean. I expected more professional and respectful attitude towards a patient whose only purpose is to be able get a medicine. She said "why don't you try another pharmacy" by laughing. There was nothing funny! I will never ever go there unless I receive an apology!

I'm so disappointed. I've been a regular customer here for years shopping for holiday/birthday gifts and have always recommended it to others. Unfortunately, I recently had my first negative experience and can now see why others have poorly reviewed their customer service. The older lady with short hair (not sure if she's the manager) had a very off-putting tone with me the minute I walked in and greeted her first which already made me feel unwelcome. She then seemed bothered and made some passive aggressive remarks the entire time I was asking questions about a particular gift item I couldn't find that I had previously purchased for my mother. I kept a smile on and eventually purchased a different item and on my way out she made a strange comment which I tried to ignore and just joked about it while stepping out. To my surprise, she had packed my gift in a PHARMACY bag.. I didn't notice until I got in the car and honestly was furious. I still kept my composure and walked in politely asking another employee (who was very attentive) for a decent bag for my gift seeing they had a ton at the register. Meanwhile, the original woman that had helped me couldn't even look at me. I've worked in customer service in the past and this is one of the most unprofessional approaches I've seen - I'm convinced this was purposely done. This entire incident made me extremely uncomfortable and honestly don't think I'll be returning.

charging $50 for local delivery of medication seems unreasonable when most retail pharmacies deliver for free

Fast delivery. But when I called the pharmacy multiple times about a question I was treated very rudely and blown off.

The pock-marked Pharmacist was nothing short of RUDE and judgemental. I had come straight to the Haworth Apothacary with a Dr prescription. Not knowing my medical history or why the Dr Prescribed me a pain med, she basically threw the prescription towards me and simply stated; "by the time my ordering this arrives this script will have expired". How rude! How non-helpful? What has happened to Customer Service? Terrible Customer Service and shame on this Pharmacy for per-judging me!!! Never again will I set foot into this store.

For many years a wonderful local establishment.However, very disappointed when I went in just before Christmas to see if there was availability for Covid home tests. Yes (yeah)... But... they charged $40 for a single-test kit otherwise priced between $10 and $15. Understand a reasonable mark-up but that feltOver the top.

Took two weeks to get a refill and they delivered the wrong insulin needles. Not once but twice. I get that businesses are overwhelmed these days. But not getting the right meds can be deadly. Make sure you are getting the right meds and dosages.

My name is Jennifer Cirelli and I would just like to mention that I have been with Haworth Apothecary for many years. They have always been very capable of getting any kind of medication that is necessary and they are extremely friendly and knowledgeable of not just your medication but of who you are. Recently I have been in a new program called SYN.This program puts all of your medication together at one time every month and you do not have to call in refills or try to get prescriptions even around the same time every month. They are all synced together for you. The woman in charge of the program Shivani has been amazing to work with and has made everything simple. She is on top of everything and will call every month and go over the medication’s that they will be sending. No more dealing with Dr. office refills or calling the pharmacy for refills. This is absolutely the best program I have ever had and it is run so smoothly I would recommend it to anyone receiving multiple prescriptions per month.

I normally do not do reviews however, what a find!!! Awesome Pharmacy (Apothecary). Super knowledgeable staff & pharmacists ! Tremendously caring during very tough times - lots of neat items in the store is a famous bonus.

Again, a billing issue. In the past two years Haworth Apothecary has made numerous billing mistakes (not in my favor) totally hundreds of dollars. You should always question you prescription bill when receiving meds from them Attached is the latest mistake. They said it was a bar coding error. I thought bar codes were supposed to eliminate human errors.

Love this pharmacy, my prescriptions are always ready, they have mailed prescriptions to me when I'm away, everyone is so helpful. I also love the gift shop they have such great items for all occasions. I would say they are the best pharmacy around in Bergen County!!!
