“Well let me start by saying I'm from Alabama and hate that I can't pick this place up and take it with me . From the service ,presentation, to the quality it's top tier. I had a burger from Cj's burgers (one of the best burgers I have ever had) also my husband and I shared a family meal with the whole chicken, ribs, seasoned vegetables, and roasted potatoes. My oh my you talking bout good eating the meat texture and flavor was superb and artistically prepared. New Jersey is blessed to have this jewel in their city.....thanks for such a great experience ? “I purchased a 16 lb turkey and a 12 lb turkey breast for thanksgiving, however due to family members having covid and not being able to attend dinner, I put the turkey breast in the freezer and I just re-did thanksgiving dinner for my family that could'nt make it in November. Hands down, thee BEST turkey breast ever!!! Everyone raved about it for days!!. Most friendly staff is the extra bonus... Thanks again, for the best quality of meat. See you soon.”
“Old-school Italian butcher & deli! They make their own sausage & fresh mozzarella! Grabbed lunch - ordered The Naples sandwich: Chicken cutlet, imported prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, broccoli rabe, roasted peppers, extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The bread was awesome (this usually makes or breaks a great sandwich). Everything was fresh, clean, and delicious. Owner & his wife were super friendly. Their stuffed breads were cut in half; they were stuffed to the max. I can't wait to return & try other things here! Purchased some fresh mozzarella & some treat for home too.”

“Fossil Farms catered our wedding this month and did a phenomenal job! Our wedding was held outside at a private residence on Lake Hopatcong and ensuring the offsite catering (both the food and service) ran smoothly was critical for this plated, sit down event of 130 people. Ben and Liz worked with us through all the details leading up to the event and did an awesome job the day of. Our guests loved the creative passed hors d'oeuvres (Gazpacho Shooter, Bison Steak Tartare etc.) during cocktail hour. Big thanks to Ben, Liz and the entire Fossil Farms team for helping to make our day special and memorable.”

“They have a great deli and hot prepared food. It's a good place to stop by and grab a few fruits and other foods. I especially like the cold/prepared food they have there like the pot pies and the empanadas so I recommend those.”

“Good food and large selection, but grabbing food with barehand? I don’t care if you are Italian or from mars, in 2023 people use plastic or paper. Fast service depending on the time and the amount of employees that day. Overall is a great place to get custom or handmade food. The place is well maintained and clean. I would def recommend it.”

“First time here and I love it. Asked for recommendations for steak and the man behind the counter was very patient with me. Ended up for a porter house steak. Cooked it at home and let me tell you: best steak. Also ordered pirogis which were amazing. Planning on more trips!!”
