I can't recommend this shop enough!!! I have been feeling like I would never get my VW beetle fixed right. After taking my car to other auto shops, including the dealership where I purchased, I was starting to give up hope and was even thinking about selling (but I love my bug!!) I would take the car in and end up with something else broken and the repair not done correctly. I was recommended by a friend, and I won't ever take my car anywhere else again! My beetle is running like new! The process was smooth start to finish. I was informed of the price before any work was done, and what was wrong with it was explained to me in detail and explained again after I picked it up. Kevin also took the time to explain how often I should be checking my oil so that the car can last longer.

Brought my cars here for 15 years. Two things I care about-- not getting ripped off and the job to be done CORRECTLY, which is what I get here at "King pin custom". Compared with other repair shops I tried in north jersey in the past, you don't get price gauged here- the parts + labor costs are fair. The main guy, Kevin told me he has been repairing cars (and jets, at one point) for over 30 years, which gives me confidence that he knows what he's doing. He asks for permission before completing the job. Only thing is, you have to put car in front of his garages, so I always ask him exactly where he wants it before I drop it off

Very straight forward with his assessments and quick with the work. I’ve gotten my car before the day ends after only dropping it off that morning many times. Nothing he has repaired has had further issues, can’t ask for much more.

Brought my vehicle to Kingpin with a code that I knew was either going to be a small thing, or a major issue.They diagnosed the issue for a small fee and confirmed the engine had major issues. My options were discussed and I went with Kingpin replacing my engine, along with another few repairs my vehicle needed. Now my almost 10yr old vehicle feels like new and all at a reasonable cost, in a timely fashion and and with honesty that is truly unmatched from any mechanic I have ever dealt with. 2 thumbs up for an awesome mechanic shop that will be getting all my future businesss. ? ?

I went to Kevin after I thought I had oil leaking. That wasn’t the case we both figured it out. After he put my vette on the lift he noticed some thing and fixed the issue. Also noticed my shocks were shot when someone else said they were ok. Kevin replaced my shocks and went over other things. He is my guy now. I’ve always had newer cars so really didn’t need a mechanic because of warranty but since I bought the vette you know the rest. My parents and friends go to Kevin everyone says he’s the best. I have been having issues with my A/C for the last four years. The blend doors on the heater box were not working properly, and everywhere I went the estimates were in the 1,500-2,000 ballpark for a complete heater box replacement. I have a 15 year old Jeep, so it never made sense to make such a large investment. Kevin is the only one who offered to only replace the broken blend doors on my existing hear box, bringing the cost down to 650. He undertook an unbelievably tedious job, completed it in just under a week from time of diagnostic to finished product, and charged an incredibly fair rate. I have A/C again for the first time since 2019! Great work, great service, excellent rates.Service: A/C installation & repair

I would highly recommend Kingpin Customs if you need work done on your car. I brought my car here after another mechanic told me he couldn't figure out what was wrong with my vehicle. Within 3 days a months long issue was fixed and for a fair price too.

I own a 1941 Chevy Pickup NOT completely stock and was having a hard time finding someone willing and able to work on it. Pete's Concrete recommended me to Kevin and I couldn't be happier. He is extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk to and a great mechanic /fabricator. The first stage of work done so far on the truck has improved it considerably and we are waiting for more hard to find parts to finish the suspension/steering. I came with a very cool looking mess and I left with hottest cars on the road. the car was a death trap days ago and now it's solid as a rock and the price was more than fair for the expertise of the shop.
