I've been going to Eden for 12 years. David's price is very reasonable and he doesn't do any unnecessary work. David does very good work, he knows what he's doing.

This is just the best and the most honest mechanic in town - I was quoted over $7000 repairs by Audi Emglewood for my 2015 A5 audi convertible- here the owner told me that nothing was wrong just few adjustments and he was right and honest — wait I am not done here - there is more - I own a business and I gave a brand new Jeep to my GM lady , 20,000 miles she goes to jeep Englewood Cliffs ( we’re we purchased the car brand NEW ) for oil change - they tell her that there a slush on the oil and it is about $3000 for cleaning and all - they start scaring her ( easy with a lady who don’t know anything about cars ) - telling her that the engine could blow up anytime - she called me in panic ( I the owner of the car after all ) I said “tell them to go F themselves and get out of there “ they were reluctant to give her bac the car - had her to sign a discharge and all , bunch of crooks !! - brought the car to to Eden - $67 cleaning and oil change .Ladies and gentleman we are surrounded by crooks — so, be safe and go to Eden Auto repair first - they a are honest and straight to the point

Eden mechanic is a one man show, a nice man, always smiling. I have walked in there twice with my car, once suspecting a puncture as I was careless while pulling out of my drivewayand the front tire rubbed a good deal against the rocks supporting the side wall. It was 5PM before the Labor Day weekend, and that worried me a bit, what if etc. The mechanic dropped whatever he was doing and took care of my tire issue right away, testing for leaks etc. He couldn't find any. The second time, it was for low tire pressure due to cold weather. But his willingness to help right away dropping whatever he was doing impressed me.He has an elderly sidekick, a real gentleman, and probably retired. He is always there, just hanging around and smiling at everyone seems to be his work. Very friendly, nothing confrontational like at regular shops. Everything is made easy ...Nothing lasts forever, sad, he told me he is moving away ... he mentioned something about oil testing onto the ground and environmental impact etc. The Oradell drinking water canal is nearby. Oil and drinking water don't mix well ...?

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT take your car to be serviced at this business. They charged me WAY too much money and my car was not fixed. Thankfully I disputed the charge with my credit card company and got most of it back.The two owners (brothers-in-law) do not communicate with one another, so when I brought my car back on the second day, the owner there that day had no idea what to do. I arrived to pick up my car more than 5 hours after dropping it off, and it had not been looked at. When I asked how long it would take to repair I was told a few hours. Then, amazingly, it was "done" in 30 minutes. Why do you ask? Because it was NOT fixed.Shame on this business!!
