If I were to compare this to other ShopRites, this one definitely stands out. It is large in size and pretty modern. I would say everything is fairly clean and well stocked. I've never had an issue with them not having something. ShopRite is my go-to store for my main shopping due the prices. While the parking lot is huge, the spaces are close together and it can sometimes be a nightmare backing up. I usually choose to park towards the back to avoid any nonsense. Service is fine - nothing above and beyond. It's a good store overall.

I preorder my food. I prepay for my groceries and I wait over an hr in my car for my groceries to be told. They are short staffed. I have 2 kids in the car who are barely hanging on this shouldn't be that difficult to get my groceries. People showed up after me and got their stuff. This is horrible service

We've used the catering department a few times and are very happy with the quality of food and the service. It's become our go to for parties and events. They people are vey friendly and helpful and the food is a step up from other places we've tried. I highly recommend you try them for your next party... you won't be disappointed!

Produce has always been one day shy of rotten! If it's not soft and mushy, it's tasteless. Spent $11.99 for a bag of cherries that had no flavor. It's been this way since store opened. I have spoken to the produce manager and customer service but no one cares. Pretty typical these days.

A nice enough ShopRite with a lot of prepared take out items like sushi, sandwiches & soups. I like the vegetable soup there. Self checkout near the prepared foods area makes for a quick and easy checkout. Disposable plastic silverware wasn't easy to find and the eat in area looked disheveled and closed, it was empty and no lights on so I ate in my car. The food was good but that was a disappointment. The selection of groceries seems extensive but they need to keep an eye on organization, I notice a downturn from a few years ago when I walked in and was blown away. Wegman's has this beat, sorry.

Isabella thank you for helping me load coupons onto my card! Never even knew I could do that.

so much is wrong with this store. first, the carts usually have garbage in them, whoever collects the carts should be taking the garbage out and not leaving for the customer to deal with. I can't just run in for lunch meat it usually takes at least 1/2 hour to get 2 things and the pre cut ones are awful. the cashiers are not friendly and do not pack the bags and just push everything to the bottom of the belt and start the next customer while you still trying to bag. they sometimes have a group bagging but now you are obligated to pay them for bagging. I will end here but could go on and on. this is the most convenient shop rite but I will be going to Wharton or Rockaway.

The best ShopRite there is. Most variety I have ever seen plus they sell beer/wine/liquor. Everything across the store is always super fresh. Definitely gets busy on the weekends between 11am-2pm so go early

just nowNEWAn employee just told my husband to "eat sh*t" because it's the day before payday and we had to put a few things back. Don't go here.Edit: He went back in to speak to the manager and she called him a fag*ot.

I'm not from this area, but my husband and I were visiting so I decided to find a ShopRite nearby because my Whole Foods was out of something I knew ShopRite had. Anyway, at first I was astonished. It seemed like the old Fairway in West Paterson .... er, excuse me, Woodland Park. Even healthy drink samples. Spacious. I was psyched. But it was all so deceiving. What was disappointing was that they did not have a natural/health section like the World Class ShopRites do, so it was hard to find stuff I was in the market for. Also, they don't carry any plant-based milk that doesn't have additives. (Example, Three Tree doesn't have additives and you can only get that at Whole Foods). Shame, I had to go for the old standby, EdenSoy. I'm not a fan of using too much soy, but when it's the lesser of the evils, I'll go for it.Now, what was really disturbing. There was a woman working there...I'd say a young woman, but she looked so mean it was hard to tell) who was using the push cart to put product away. I was looking for something so obviously in her way and not moving fast enough to her liking (uh, hello beyotch, the customer always comes FIRST). She stared at me, giving me the evil eye. Really?! The evil eye because I'm a guest at your place of business? DUH!!!!Dudette, just say, "Excuse me" and I will scoot out of your way. Or better yet, let me READ the labels, choose what I need, and then I will be OUT of your way. Either way, you are getting paid, right? Or was it half past your beloved break-time so you can go have a smoke and bitch about life to anyone who listens?! So, all in all, it's a "no" for me. Management needs to step up, have a good talk to your "workers." Teach them manners because obviously they didn't learn any from school or their parents. Two words, "Excuse me." And a smile to go with it would be respectful. Thank you.

The kitchen @ this ShopRite is phenomenal. My mom always asks to go here when she is in town to get the tuna. The kids LOVE the pizza; not to mention they have an amazing individual, Andrew Campione, that works for them!! Great person and makes GREAT food!

Store does not honor advertised deals using digital coupons. Frequently get cheated most recently last week. Inquired at customer "service" desk and the c*** at the desk talked b******* about why not available-according to her must be my error. I shop here multiple times per week and am reasonably intelligent-but I'm sure I'm not smart enough to work at the SR service desk. Don't shop here!! Walmart in Cedar Knolls carries many of same items for much lower prices.

This location was good when it first opened. Stocked and ready when the doors opened. Not so much any longer. I drive the extra 5 minutes to Wegmans now. Much better quality AND product selection at Wegmans. ShopRite "fresh" baked goods come from commissary in NY, veggies are second tier quality, meat department is an absolute joke... never stocked or ready when open, other store item locations constantly change. This store will be 100% self check out in a year or so or Instacart orders only, They are close to that scenario now. Self checkout area is currently set up for ten items or less... no where to bag and leave bag on a counter if you are doing weekly shopping. Needs much larger work station if I'm doing all the work now at check out! I'm hoping new Aldi can offer locals quality again!

When the Shop-Rite opened several years ago, it was amazing. Still a good place to go, but no longer great. Some aspects of shopping there are a disappointment. First and foremost is the self-check-out which is a complete mess. The machines are too sensitive to understand what the customer is doing. Every time I use one, it will say "Unknown item in the bagging area. Please remove the item". Then, once removed, it will say "Item removed from the bagging area. Return Item to the bagging area." It's been six months since shoppers have to bring their own bags and Shop-Rite has yet to program the self-check-out machines properly. Also, Shop-Rite once had a cashier outside for items like plants or ice. Now, a shopper has to bring the plant indoors (do you really want dirt in a grocery store?) to buy it. Not efficient.

0 stars if i could rate it! Below average, just for pantry items and sometimes even those are expensive for what they are. This Shoprite has gone downhill! Let's not talk about the pizza. How can you mess up a plain pie ?! Also undercooked and we asked for bacon as a toppings( no bacon was found).
