Working with this dealership was truly a pleasure. Gene and Don were incredibly helpful, honest, and kind. The groups integrity and transparency is what sold me on this car. I cannot recommend this group enough.

Let me state up front: the 2020 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Ti Sport is a great driving machine and experience! We love it!The car gets a five-star review; Performance Alfa Romeo Whippany, NJ does not.My Partner and I test drove the Stelvio on Black Friday 2023 and decided to move forward with the purchase, leaving a credit card deposit of $2,000.00. The following few days were spent bickering with Jay Yarber, sales manager, because we could not pick up the vehicle until Dec. 2; we had to arrange financing and transfer of money all in 3 business days because he absolutely had to have the sale in November of 2023; we capitulated and arranged the financing and contract all received back by the dealership on 11/29/2023.On 12/2/2023 we returned to pick up the vehicle; Danielle our sales person was absent. The delivery was passed off to Kyle who stepped in to fulfill the task. The car was not detailed to the Maserati standard as promised, seats were noticeably dirty (dog drool still on the seats as noted during the test drive), the car was now also missing valve stem covers and required a front license plate bracket (car was going back to NY); thankfully all rounded up at the last minute by Kyle and we drove away on a temp tag expiring on 12/31/2023.Days later whatever air freshener wore off - the car had obviously been smoked in and we also noted the infotainment was jam packed with heavy metal favorites and contacts of the previous driver “J”. One would think this would have been cleared out as a safety concern for the previous owner’s identity; or maybe these belonged to a dealership employee?Registration did not arrive by 12/31 and the car was parked. We called and emailed to check on the registration (before expiration) with no answers or meaningful response FOR TWELVE DAYS. When we learned the dealership possibly uses a third party, Vanguard Services, for their title work, we were handed off to Val Sanchez. We asked Val Sanchez for specifics: “When was the title work sent to NYDMV? What is the cause of delay? Was the title even in possession to sell the car?” We were promised answers and none have come. After three weeks of “loss of use”, the plates were received on Jan 23. NYDMV mail in registrations take 10 to 15 days to complete. Which likely means the dealership sold the car without possession of the title.Alfas are great cars, but buy your Alfa someplace else.

I recently had a fantastic experience at Performance Alpha Romero. Eugenio Santini, my Salesman, impressed me with his knowledge, kindness, intelligence, patience, and calm demeanor. I highly recommend both the dealership and Eugenio Santini for a seamless and enjoyable car-buying process.

If I could give zero stars I would. One star is NOT EVEN Enough. I left BMW for the miss treatment. I never thought a service manger (Alex) can treat any customer in the same way I was treated. I would never go back to get a new car, I would never go back to get serviced and I would never EVER refer anyone to this dealership. I would rather pay 2 times what I pay now in any dealership and not be treated like the way I did. Very sad and disappointing

Had an outstanding experience with Pam in financing at Alfa Romeo in Whippany, New Jersey. Totally prepared and professional. Had all paperwork ready. Created a seamless experience. Highly efficient and customer friendly. Made the car purchasing experience a pleasure.

I was thoroughly impressed by my experience at Performance Alfa Romeo. I walked in without an appointment to inquire about the 2024 Tonale Veloce, and instantly felt welcome by the staff.I was introduced to Sales Executive Danielle, who has that natural gift of making someone feel like they’ve known her for years! She addressed any and all of my questions about the car, and set up a test drive with the exact model and color I was interested in. While the car itself left a strong impression, it was ultimately Danielle's comprehensive insights into the brand's heritage, the cars design and safety features, and the various driving modes that made me realize that it was something that I actually wanted. The next day, when I came back to start the purchase process, I had the pleasure of working with Finance Manager Pam, whose expertise left me deeply impressed. Both Pam and Danielle took the time to truly understand my preferences, particularly with reaching a specific monthly payment once the down payment and trade-in were factored in.After the routine back and forth of running different numbers, their collaborative approach resulted in a plan that aligned with what I was looking for. I was presented with a very FAIR and REASONABLE price that I was confident with, and made me eager to sign the paperwork.Throughout my entire experience, I never once felt like a mere transaction. Everyone I encountered displayed warmth, knowledge, and authenticity.I drove off with a fully charged battery and a full tank of gas, while Danielle waved goodbye as I pulled out of the lot. Could not have been more perfect.THANK YOU Danielle and Pam for your exceptional assistance and above-and-beyond customer service throughout this process!

Great experience buying my car, but after I walked away from the dealership, my experiences have been sour. The team at Route 10 is unprofessional, rude, and will rip you off. Wouldn't buy an Alfa Romeo car ever again in general, but especially wouldn't from this location.

Overall a wonderful transaction and experience, considering this was an out of state purchase. There were a few miscommunication issues, some the dealer's , some mine, I could have asked much more clear questions. I acknowledge an out of state car purchase can be problematic but we got everything worked out. Great discount off the '23 model, great rate for a wheel/tire package which for these cars is a must.I have paid my NC property tax, the last step in securing the final and correct registration document and plate sticker. There was a slight miscommunication as to who was going to pay that. The dealer performed the title application (NC) and fee, yearly registration fee, and NC "highway use tax" (don't get me started on this one, not in any way related to the dealer or this being an out of state purchase, just the cost of having a car). These final 3 items were part of the financials related to the purchase (and I'm very pleased the dealer could get these handled as compared to dealing with my local institution for an out-of-state purchase). The license plate (NC) is on its way to me, the out of state agent doing the registration and title application on behalf of the dealer sent it back to the dealer rather than directly to me, but the registration is correct, the title is on the way to the financing bank. All will be well.Eugenio Santini (sales) is fantastic, knows his product, handled all the purchase, PDI, syncing with the transport company. Top notch after sales service and utmost concern for the customer.Pam Sieradzki (finance manager) is amazing. She found rebates I didn't know existed, she secured financing that beat my local institution, all the work that we as customers depend upon dealers for she was on top of, very concerned after sale support. She's the bomb.Jay Yarber (sales manager) was great, communicative, utmost after sale support and concern for settling the minutia of an out-of-state purchase.I got the right car for me at the right place and I'm exceedingly happy. These folks are great, and despite hiccups this was an extremely satisfying experience. I am back in an Alfa after 23 years, and the best one they make.

My old lease was coming to an end so I started pricing out the Alfa Tonale which got my interest because of the hybrid feature. I did my research and about 6 weeks before lease end I came down with my kids to check it out and met Matt who worked with me through the process. He was never pushy or aggressive like other dealers. In the end he got the EPA rebate for me and matched and beat the best offer I got from other Alfa dealers in the area. On top of that he hooked me up with an upgraded model that just came in. The Pam who was super busy that day put everything aside to get me through the financing part of the lease. This is by far the most professional experience Ive had at a dealership and Im still cant believe the deal I got. This Tonale is fire and Matt is the man!

I brought in my 2021 Giulia for service and repairs after a poor experience at Fullerton Alfa Romeo and this dealer really exceeded my expectations. Brianna specifically was such a great help, she went above and beyond to accommodate me and and I really felt like a member of the Alfa family. As soon as I picked up my Giulia (which looked brand new after the incredible detail job they did) we dropped off my 2023 Stelvio for a software update and they accommodated us to the point it was finished within the hour since we mentioned having to drive far after the service to work! If you want the true alfa experience, no BS just great service and nice people i doubt there’s better than Performance alfa. I look forward to buying my next Car from them!

This dealership was the worst experience I have ever had with any car company or dealership in 18 years of leasing cars. On my Saturday morning May 6th i brought my 2020 Alfa Romeo Stelvio in for service. The prior week the air conditioning stopped blowing out cold air. After the dealership having my truck for 3 days they called me with the diagnosis, claiming that my refrigerant level was low & contaminated from an outside source. Because of “supposedly being contaminated from an outside source” it was not covered under warranty and would cost $10,000 as they said the entire cooling system would need to be replaced. My truck is a lease, not even 3 years old and only has 45,000 miles on it so it is covered under warranty. The coolant was never touched and has the original coolant from the factory. After going back and forth with the service advisor and getting nowhere I asked to speak to a service manger or any kind of manger from the dealer but nobody would return my calls. After 4 days later that following Thursday I picked my truck up and immediately took it to Alfa Romeo in Ramsey where the car came from. Within 1 hour they fixed my truck. Completely covered under warranty. The air conditioning system was completely fine and blowing cold air again. The coolant was not contaminated and passed all tests. I highly recommend NOT bringing your vehicles here for service or buy a car from Whippany Alfa Romeo
