The office is clean, the personnel friendly and efficient, the doctors understanding, helpful and very personable and pleasant. We've seen several docs, and they have helped our aging dog feel comfortable and feel better. Such a relief knowing they are there for her as needed.

Love Dr. Courtney and Dr. Gabby. Very patient and knowledgeable. They treat our animals like they are their own.. also extremely compassionate during hard times of losing our furry friend.. won't go anywhere else!! Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming! Saige, Fletcher, Piper, and Stewie love going there and are never afraid...5 stars to all the doctors and staff from the Miller family!

Excellent vets, very attentive and helpful! I adopted my dog in 2018 and he has definitely needed a lot of care - allergies among many things. All said, after trying out many different vets, I finally was recommended Sussex Animal Hospital and cannot be happier. I found out my dog has a thyroid issue and needed medication - no crazy skin scrape testing, etc. This alone has made his quality of life so much better.

My experience has been great so far! From my first call to the office, to the visit itself, and follow up afterward, the staff were all fantastic. The front desk staff that answered my call was extremely pleasant and helpful, got me an appointment quickly and took care of requesting the records from our prior vet. Dr. Gabby was amazing. She makes it very clear that she loves her job and loves animals. She was able to diagnose Kobe's problem immediately and explained the treatment plan clearly and thoroughly. Her follow up afterwards was also just as pleasant and thorough. I am so happy we made the switch to Animal Hospital of SC!

Really great experience all around. I told several dog show people that you are located nearby the show site (fairgrounds) and are available for progesterone testing, etc.

I use the service of "house calls" on Wednesday.My cats suffer motion sickness&get stressed&vomit&poop,when in vehicle.So,having vets come to home is WONDERFUL

We are so very grateful for your compassion and superior care for our golden retriever, Lillie. After our three days of travel to get here from Florida, it was alarming and frightening to be at our mountain River home with no idea who to call or where to take her as she got sicker and sicker. Your willingness to take us in immediately and care for her expertly was comforting and appreciated more than words can say. The desk staff, vet tech Jennie and Dr. Spinks were top notch and we are watching Lillie return to her normal self again.
Thank you with all my heart. You cared for my fur baby (and me) with kindness and skill we will never forget. Blessings.

Great service and very well organized facility. We chose Animal Hospital of Sussex County is because, our Veterinarian, Dr. Lovell was brought on board from a previous vet hospital and his knowledge and expertise is worth the follow!

Nice place. Only real complaint is that the exams aren’t in front of the pet owners anymore. I used to be able to be in the room during my dog’s exam, but now the exam happens in another room where you can’t see what happens. I find that a little weird and it makes me wonder what happens behind closed doors. I do really like this place, I wish the exams were still in front of the owner though.

I’ve been coming to this vet practice for 5 years now and recently saw Dr Monique for my pup’s wellness visit. She is incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and handled my anxious pup with care. The front desk staff were very helpful as usual! Love coming here and definitely recommend Dr Monique.

I was new to the practice with my cat, Tinkerbell. From the first call for info about the practice and getting an appointment staff was attentive, kind and welcoming. We saw Dr. Gabby and she was awesome. She interacted with Tinkerbell and was professional and gave me good information. I felt comfortable and confident that this was the place for us. So glad this was our choice upon moving to Sussex County.
