Disappointing Experience at Walmart in Mays Landing, New JerseyIf I could give this Walmart in Mays Landing, New Jersey, zero stars, I would gladly do so. My recent visit to this store left me utterly dismayed and frustrated by the blatant disregard for basic cleanliness and customer service.Let's start with the parking lot, which resembles more of a landfill than a place of business. Litter is strewn everywhere, and the sight of abandoned shopping carts obstructing pathways is a common occurrence. The staff's lackadaisical attitude towards cart retrieval only exacerbates the problem, as they seem more interested in goofing off with each other than attending to their responsibilities. I've witnessed numerous instances of customers being inconvenienced for several minutes as they attempt to maneuver around carts blocking their vehicles.Upon entering the store, I was greeted with an appalling sight. Despite being the first customer of the day, the aisles were littered with trash, and shelves were haphazardly stocked. It's disheartening to see such blatant neglect of basic cleanliness standards. The presence of an open and half-empty bag of bread in the water aisle is not only unsanitary but also reflects a complete lack of attention to detail on the part of the staff. To add insult to injury, my son informed me that during his recent visit, he left a bottle of soap near the checkout area due to long lines. Astonishingly, when we returned the next day, the soap was still sitting untouched on the shelf, further underscoring the staff's apathy towards maintaining a tidy and organized store environment.Overall, my experience at the Walmart in Mays Landing was nothing short of disappointing. It's evident that cleanliness and customer satisfaction are not a priority for the management and staff of this establishment. I, for one, will be actively avoiding this Walmart in the future and will gladly go out of my way to patronize establishments that prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of their customers. Truly a sad state of affairs.

Staff are very discriminatory and target people of color at check out. People of color are accused of stealing every time they enter the store without fail. This store is honestly the worst Walmart in the South Jersey area and it is all thanks to the low quality staff Walmart has employed there. Do better!

I saw 2 employees stocking and chatting on the sales floor, and I had a quick question, so I sauntered over to them to ask. 1 of them saw me coming and bolted. The other one pretended to not see me and avoided eye contract hoping I would walk passed. Just for the record, I am a perfectly normal looking and smelling human. The issue here was not me. Anyway, I interrupted her pretending not to exist and asked my question. She looked me dead in the eye and said "I don't speak English". I had just overheard her babbling to her fellow co-worker very much in English. I couldn't even really be mad, because WOW, the audacity there is legendary. Like off the charts. But this Walmart is a complete cesspit. 5 stars for that lady and her absolute nerve. 0 stars for this septic system of a retail store.

My family always uses this Walmart Supercenter. It's very convenient for me. You are able to shop for all your needs in one store. They accept EBT and U Cards given by your health insurance company. They also have motorized carts for the handicapped ♿. I would recommend this Supercenter to anyone anyday of the week. They even have a security team that patrols ? the parking lot and store.

I was held up and ganged up on for not showing my receipt. Employees held my cart yanked it out of my hands and tried to not let me leave. Maybe if they had more regular checkouts this would not happen. This was so uncalled for and not legal they can't hold me from leaving. I spent over $150 on this trip. I loaded my cart unloaded it rang everything up and reloaded my cart. This is ridiculous and I will not be shopping at this store again (possibly any other Walmart) the way I was treated like a criminal was insulting! Very upsetting.

I’ve been a long time customer here. It’s where I shop for my family and my job and I keep quiet about most things because it just ain’t worth bringing up. Online it says Walmart was open today, (Thanksgiving) so I run there to grab a couple things for my job. Parking lot had cars in it so I assume it was true and the Brosnan Security truck was driving around. I park and I walk to the door where the brosnan truck is parked. The guy makes a face at me and I’m confused so I go to the window. He opens the door and almost hits me with it and he starts mumbling. I ask him if Walmarts open and he says “Does it look like it’s #%#%ing open? Go away.” The Walmart employees are great but this security contractor they’ve hired is AWFUL.

Walmart in Mays Landing, NJ used to be a good Walmart 5-10 years ago. Currently, the cashiers have little understanding how to work their register have very poor customer service skills and could potentially be defrauding you at the register. Avoid Walmart in Mays Landing, NJ. Go to Black Horse Pike location.Yesterday, I was double billed. It was either an intentional reason to scam by the cashier or the cashier is not doing the job correctly. I then go to the customer service and a very rude, Sylvia who says she is a manager, tells me to call the Walmart card directly. I reiterate that it’s a Walmart store problem since the dupe charge occurred in store by your poorly trained cashier. Sylvia was rude and no help at all. I called the Walmart card and Walmart card said the mishandling was internal to Walmart. I disputed double billing and dispute was resolved.Attention Sylvia in May’s Landing customer service:Rolling your eyes and being rude to customers is a poor way to manage. If Walmart Corporate looks to correct their May’s Landing sinking ship, they should start by firing Sylvia in customer service. They also should give their cashiers better training and a course on better customer service as their skills are sorely lacking. Lastly, they should enhance security and monitor cashiers more astutely to reduce potential internal fraud.

I know this review probably won't go anywhere. Printed out some wedding photos here while on our honey moon in AC and accidentally left the photos in the cart. I've been on the phone for 45 minutes (and counting) just to even speak to someone. (Just to see if someone turned them in) The staff is rude and when speaking to the manager the day we went there informed me she "runs Walmart daycare" cause the kids don't wanna work that they hire. Just another lovely Walmart (:

They need to remove the greeters and remove the or reduce the amount of self checkout, and hire cashiers and treat them like human beings, the employees are treated like robots, all of the other retail and food stores do not have greeters acting like security officers checking receipts and have all entrances open just because they don't have any greeters to cover a door, put actual security officer to check receipts
