Half the people here are very serious gym types. The other half look like they have never used their body before

Thanks for getting another pectoral fly machine . ??? Sorry had to bring it back to three stars someone does have a point Where's the 24-hour service pandemic is over come on already. So we're paying for 24-hour service seems like you should lower your prices. You need 2 more bicep crow machines. You added equipment but then you took some good ones away come on now.

It wouldn't hurt to turn on the AC. Maybe they're trying to cut costs but it's uncomfortably hot.

I'd wish the gym hours were 24 hours like they advertised

For the price , you can't beat it. Sick of the people who sit around on phones, making videos, ect. Needs to get back to pre pandemic hours and how it was run.

As great as all the PF locations I have been to.
Although it took them a few weeks to repair the water fountain. I think that was too long. They recently brought in new machines.

This Planet Fitness does not deserve 4.2 stars. I don't know how it ever got that because I've been going to this gym for over 2 years, and I have not seen any improvements whatsoever.
One of the biggest complaints I have about this gym is how the people here hog up 2 machines at once or use 3-4 sets of weights at a time. From my understanding, space and gym equipment are supposed to be shared. However, somehow people think they're entitled to all of the weights like they own the gym.
These attitudes prevent people from working out in a comfortable environment. I speak for other gym goers as well when I say this because I've heard many similar complaints from my friends who attend.
One person told me they were so discouraged of how crowded the gym was that they just went home. Using multiple weights is inconsiderate to others who want to work out and are standing around waiting for people to finish. There should be rules implemented in this gym for the amount of weights one person can use at a time.
The parking lot is constantly crowded too. Sometimes it's so packed that people have started parking in the "fire lane," which is a safety hazard. There is hardly ever room for anyone to park, and people will circle the lot for 10-20 mins waiting for people who are wasting time idling in their cars.
The bathroom is also very unhygienic and disgusting. I've seen used floss picks and Q-tips left behind on the countersink and outside as well. The soap dispensers oftentimes malfunction and you can't wash your hands with soap. I've had things stolen in the locker room. This gym should have locks installed on their lockers like the other Planet Fitness gyms have.
People who use the machines are also very rude because they'll sit on a machine and have a full blown conversation instead of focusing on their workout. I've seen people blasting music on Bluetooth speakers disturbing the peace.
The gym has gotten worse over the years. It just continues to get more crowded, and there's simply not enough gyms in this area of Central Jersey. We could benefit if we had another gym built in Bordentown or maybe another in the other side of town in Hamilton. This area needs to expand a bit more like South Jersey which has a Planet Fitness every 15 miles.

The gym itself is nice. Lots of equipment. Good energy. However, the bathrooms aren't that great. Kind of dirty. Hair in the shower. Only one changing room.

I truly appreciate the Arc Trainers. After every single PA PF from Langhorne up to Warminster failed to produce a newer model, I was happy to see a new model in NJ with this location being the closest.
So why 3☆?
Not only has someone made the decision to get rid of about half of the Arc Trainers, machines greater in quality to treadmills and ellipticals in every single way, but now, 1 of their ab crunches and back extensions are gone.
Why? Both of them worked fine.
I would personally bring back the missing Arcs, and get those ab and back machines back or add something of equal value.
Now, instead of this being the location with everything I'd need, I'd have to drive to Robbinsville, an extra 20 mins away or to Ewing who has mostly everything but the Arcs are old.
I say this in venting: What. Were. They. Thinking?

This Planet Fitness can be a diamond in the rough, as the area is known for being highly concentrated with people and can feel overwhelming when entering the gym. The bathrooms and equipment are maintained, some cardio machines are missing screws and or out of order. Luckily they are adding new equipment as of 5/24/2024. Overall experience is great, but do not expect the best. Except for staff they’re pretty chill and are cool. Only gripe with the location is the volume of people and layout of equipment . Overall, is a average PF
