I politely visited the Pratico jewelry store looking to repair a pair of earrings , I did not wasting anytime looking around. The owner quickly looked at the earring and quoted a price that was unreasonable . I wanted 1 prong added to each earring . I politely proceeded to thank him for looking at the earrings and giving me a price. I immediately began to leave : that is when the owner began to insult me for no reason at all. I ignored the insults and left . I have lived in West Windsor for 30 years and I have purchased jewelry from the Pratico stores, the store on route 33 , the store on quakerbridge rd. in Hamilton, every time that I have purchased jewelry from them I was over charged. The Pratico jewelry family, siblings and all are nothing but a bunch of arrogant thieves that bully their customers . They need to put a sign on the front door of their stores that say we pick and choose what customers we want to do business with and we only do business with those customers we can rob!!!

F. Phil Pratico Jewelers is a family business run by my cousins. The entire staff here is an absolute pleasure to work with. My family and I have been getting our jewelry here for as long as i can remember. My cousin Phil the III is knowledgeable, professional, and takes pride in ensuring that every customer is happy. Phil Jr. has been in the business for several decades, and his wife Susan is attentive, sweet, and thoughtful. My wife is extremely happy with her engagement ring and receives compliments all the time. From beautiful pieces for a few hundred follars to fine jewelery, there is something here for everyone. Thank you all very much for everything.

Update: owner claims I have the wrong store. I confirmed by my receipt and jewelry case that it is not the incorrect store. Feel free to reply with an email address if anyone would like to see photo proof. Please also see my original complaint below. Rather than attempting to any remedy such as replacement, store credit, etc… they choose to state that the ring broke because I was in the healthcare field and therefore “washed my hands too much” and they would no longer fix it. Having switched to another more reputable jeweler my suspicions were confirmed therefore I no longer desire any remedy by Pratico since I have lost all trust in their products and services.Phil Pratico jewelers specializes in excuses. They sold us a ring for almost $400. After having them size the ring, the band consistently was returned to us with a distinct line visible the width of the band. Not only were they extremely nasty but flat out refused to fix their defective work. They then claimed that there was no record of a "Beth" and that I wasn't on video surveillance to refute my review despite me having never even stated the time frame when this ring was purchased nor the purchasors name. Glad I kept the box with their insignia as well as the receipt, not that they would refund our money but simply to demonstrate how bogus their response is.

Wonderful, family owned shop. Phil is 3rd generationExcellent selection, great service, no pressure.Went there to have an engagement ring stone set in a new setting. Phil spent all the time we needed, was very helpful with suggestions and prices were very fair. Emphasis was entirely on what we liked, we did not feel he was upselling at all.We're very excited to pick it up next week!

I'm not one of those people who reflexively believes that the "customer is always right." Sometimes poor or impulsive purchase decisions are made that the consumer has to own outright - like anyone who bought a Hyundai in 1986 or a Rottweiler because "they're great with kids." My experience with F. Phil Pratico Jewelers is not one of those times. When a consumer purchases an expensive watch from a jeweler he or she expects a reasonable amount of post-sale care. My watch crapped out a week beyond warranty and was abruptly told we can ship it overseas but the repair would likely cost a grand. Okay, so they're not offering to intercede with Omega (I did, to no avail) but I am on the wrong side of the warranty and I want a functioning watch so I agreed. Well, the six week promise turned into four months with no apology but I'm not their mother and if that's their tough love shtick, I'm done with any thought of repeat business. Fast forward three weeks and I was back with the same busted watch. Not one "that's terrible" or "we're sorry" just a monotone "we can ship it out again and see what happens."... on my dime. Screw that. I found a place in Philly that could repair it for a fraction of Pratico's jewel thief solution and years later, it's still humming - no thanks to this disreputable clown college. I have no doubt what the "F" in F. Phil stands for. One star because I have to.

Of late I was looking for something that gelled with my personality and also looked feminine and intricate. I am not very fond of the flashy jewelry but adore simple yet classic looking items for daily wear. Pratico fulfilled my requirements and helped me pick up jewelry that I love wearing daily without hitting hard on my pockets.

Given the fact that we’re about to get hooked up in the marital status, we looked for the ring that complimented the reason to be together. The range of wedding rings at Pratico is fabulous with rings available for all the budgets. We finally chose a pair of platinum bands with our initials carved on the inside of it for a memory to cherish for a lifetime. Thank you, staff!
