Don the lead technician took his time out without me having to ask to show me what was wrong and explain the work done and plan with me future work that I wanted done. My truck will hit the 500,000 mile mark with them for sure! For the record I have over 426,000 on it now. Thanks guys.”

“After recently buying a VW Eos for my daughter, I brought the car to Alex to diagnose an issue related to a sound coming from the engine when the car was under load, and also to have him see if the humming sound I was hearing from the rear of the car was a bad hub bearing or a tire issue.
The engine noise turned out to be a broken metal clamp on the turbo (v band clamp) and the humming sound was a bad bearing. He had everything fixed very quickly (car was done in one day) and even though he could not find a source for the broken clamp, he had one in his garage on another turbo so he pulled the part from his stock and fixed the car with it. He didn’t even charge me for the part.
Very solid and honest work, and excellent communication on all of the aspects of the repair. Highly recommend this shop, and you can bring your car there with confidence!

“Uppy does some great work. Had a Mazda 5 that had an issue with pulling to the right and wasn’t steering correctly. Fixed the tie rod and found some other issues like a thermostat leak and valve cover gasket leak. Fixed the car and hadn’t had any issues with those things again”

I just want to say, Ive seen numerous negative reviews on many local scrap yards pages and I honestly cant believe it! There are people complaining of scams or high prices but you expect to pay $0 for high end parts. You have to be reasonable and understand that they do not get these cars/parts for free! They pay top dollar so they have a good selection/inventory for customers like us! You complain of bad customer service, it’s the worst you’ve ever seen but you also don’t tell the whole story! You forget to mention the part where you as a customer badger the employees, call numerous times asking the same thing, attempt to negotiate a ridiculous price or give an attitude and disrespect them because you aren’t getting your way, not including calling for a parts availability and giving no info, wrong info or the bare minimum info and expect them to perform miracles and then when you arrive its the wrong part and put the blame on the business 100%. No one takes responsibility for the fact that you ask for a part for a year that’s completely different then the year you have then are upset when its wrong and tear the business apart when all they did was answer the question you asked based on the info YOU gave! Be realistic people! They are trying to make a living in this terrible economy and you kick them down every chance you get! Atleast they are out here trying to run a legit and fair business and provide the best service they can! You dont get your way and you have a fricken fit like a child and drag the business because they didnt let you take advantage of them or let you call them all kinds of names/talk down to them or let you get away with whatever you want! You cant come on to someone’s property and decide what you’re going to pay and tell them what you’re going to do! The customer isn’t always right like some of you think! Get it together! This goes for all businesses! We should be supporting small/family businesses and all I have been seeing is the opposite!

“I had a bubble on one of my tires and I needed to install a new one. For a job as simple as this, I went to multiple shops but could not get it installed for different reasons. Then, I went to J&J. They were kind, welcoming and suggested to install immediately. They were thorough with their assessment so that they even realized the new tire was chipped. When I came later, they put it right there and then. Overall, I liked how these young mechanics treated a customer and how they were quick and detailed with the fix.”
