I had a grand mall seizure this past Saturday I believe it was 4/27/24. I had it in the evening so I figured I would call the doctors office Monday because I didn't want to go to the emergency room. So I called in Monday to schedule an appointment and Dr. Melzer refused to see me because they were too busy even though I had a grandma seizure. They told me to go to urgent care or the ER which I did and that they would order all the bloodwork or whatever I needed. They ordered the bloodwork, but they did not order a glucose meter glucose tabs or glucose strips being that I had a seizure due to low blood sugar. When I talked to Dr. Melzer on Monday, he told me because I missed past appointments that he would not send in the prescription. The reason I missed those appointments is due to traumatic brain injuries and I do not have a good memory. He was completely rude, completely irresponsible and vindictive. I wouldn't question one thing that that woman said. I wouldn't put anything past this man. I mean, I'm retired disabled vet and that's how he treated me. It would not surprise me. In fact he did, but that's not my business my businesses. He was very rude and he put my life in danger by not prescribing those life-saving tools./prescriptions. I tried rating zero stars because that's what he deserves quite frankly. It's a shame they don't let you.

Dr Meltzer is professional, listens to his patients & explains everything. Office staff are very welcoming when you walk in the door & helpful when you call.

Dr. Meltzer has been my Primary Physician for over 10 years.He is someone you can talk to and takes the time to explain things. He also has a great sense of humor, which makes you comfortable. He is the BEST!

I have been seeing Dr. Meltzer for about 3 or 4 years now. Dr. Mike is the kindest, sweetest, and funniest doctor I have ever met. He understands that his patients may not be feeling well, so he always listens to every concern, but also is cracking jokes and trying to lighten your day. I feel like I get a front row seat to a comedy show while I'm getting my check up. Dr. Meltzer listens to every single one of my concerns, and is very smart in how different medicines interact. He has helped me with finding the right balance of medicines for my different issues. I absolutely adore Dr. Meltzer and I think he is absolutely wonderful, as well as Dawn and Ruby in the front of the office. Sometimes wait times are a little long, but it is well worth it because Dr Mike will never rush you- he will take as long as you need. You will be in great hands with this doctor. He truly cares about all of his patients and works so hard to help everyone.

I have been a patient of Dr Meltzer for a number of years. He is a very good Doctor that takes the time to listen and diagnose! The staff is always thorough and efficient. I have recommended Dr Melter to friends and family if asked about a primary care physician.

Please read! Stay away! This is been myy PCP go about 2 years but I've only ever been to the office 2 times because I hate the dr. Office. Well this past time was in February 2020 right before Covid hit. I had went because I was not feeling well. I thought I had the flu. (I never get sick) even tho I had almost ALL of the Covid symptoms. I told meltzer what was wrong and he said seemed to just push everything I said aside and said to me "it sounds Like a couple things so I'm just going to prescribe you something for bacterial and viral and for the cough. I got a z pack and a antibiotics plus this cough medicine that did not help at all. Well less than 24 hours after I was seen at his office I was admitted to the emergency room with a 103 temperature and my resting heart rate was 160. If he wouldn't have rushed over me and taken what I was saying into consideration I could have saved a lot of time and money. Now fast forward to present day. We all know COVID has hit hard and affected a lot of people jobs. Mine included. I had paid some part of my bill, all that I could considering i am out of work and have not been receiving unemployment and that STILL sent my bill to collections during this time. He doesn't care about his patients and that is very clear. It's all about the money. I will be changing my PCP as of today.
