British expat, and this is definitely my favourite shop for sweets and groceries! Staff is always so lovely and helpful.
(Also I noticed negative reviews are mainly from people who give every place 1 star for the slightest inconveniences, and YES YOU NEED TO WATCH YOUR CHILDREN IN A STORE THATS FULL OF FRAGILE ITEMS. Being reminded to do so is not rude, not keeping your crotchgoblins in check is though!)

As a British expat this is one of my favorite ways to spend a weekend day. We live a little over an hour away so we don’t go often, but when we do go we stock up on everything I know and love. I’ve lived here 40years now and it’s by far the best British shop Ive ever found - and I do seek them out ??? Seasonally they always have Christmas Crackers and Easter Eggs. Year round they always have the candy, crisps, groceries Brits would miss, plus frozen savory pies, sausage rolls, sausages, pasties etc. The nice part is, once you’re done shopping, there’s the Great British Chip Shop across the street where you can go for lunch or dinner. Love these days!
PS Haddonfield itself it’s such a lovely town to wander, with lots of shops and restaurants.

If you like rude customer service and stores that smell like a toilet, this is the store for you. Lady working this evening didn’t mutter a word, not even during the checkout process, until the end when she managed to say “oh good the purchase went through.”
Rude rude rude.
The store had a stench similar to a toilet or dirty diaper.
Will not be coming here again.

Gorgeously curated selection of gifts, teas, and specialty fare. Always something unique. I especially love the wreaths - something for every season. Owner and sales staff are delightful. Its a "must visit" in Haddonfield.

Love this place!! All the cool snacks & candies. Their decor is above & beyond. The owners are my favorite it wouldn’t be that amazing without them. All of the staff is the best!! High quality all around I’d recommend to stop in there anytime you’re in haddonfield you won’t regret it.

Was here last weekend. Shop owners were lovely. They were in the process of receiving and putting away their Christmas orders of every type of British chocolate imaginable to my delight, however all the boxes made it a little hard to navigate the store. I spent a good amount of time looking at all of their Christmas ornaments, and all of their Scottish & Irish things ~ lovely (they had English & Welsh also but not a big interest for me) I left with bags of chocolates, wee Christmas presents for stalkings and some savories to keep for the odd gift. Although an hour plus away, I'd I'm near there again will definitely stop back in!

Been going to this shop since they were at their initial location on Mechanic Street. I have never encountered rudeness from Gary nor any of his staff, have always been treated with kindness & respect. My wife & I thoroughly enjoy visiting here not only this store but Haddonfield which to me is the poster child of Americana!

Extremely rude staff. The second I walked in I felt un-welcomed. On top of that the store is filled cheap items that are lacking quality to warrant the price.

Lots of junk served by rude staff. STAY AWAY. They were very mean and toxic to my toddler daughter. Don't ever go here unless you want very overpriced junk pawned by brain-rot weirdos.
