I bought 3 vanilla brand visa gift cards ($50 each) for my assistants at work. None of the cards work. Walmart would not help me even though they sold me faulty cards. I read about many gift card scams where thieves will steal the cards, steam the packaging open, copy the numbers onto a computer and then reverse shop lift them back into the store. Then a bot on their computer alerts them when the cards are activated at the register and steal the money from them. Walmart didn't care. If I bought any other faulty/scam product from them they'd exchange them for me but with these they told me to contact Vanilla. Well, I did. Over and over and over. So far I've spent about 4 hours on this with no satisfaction. Do NOT purchase gift cards from this Walmart or any store where the cards sit out on a stand alone kiosk. Vanilla is currently getting sued by the state of California for selling these cards with a known packaging security fault. It's far too easy for thieves to pull this scam and the consumer has zero recourse.

I went for one item in the electronic section, i waited there for over an hour, i clicked help button multiple times and no one came. i asked multiple employees who passed me and they all told me the same thing "sorry i can't help you" i the walked to costumer service and the girl working there was a young girl who looked like she had no clue what she was doing and she said the same thing "i can't help you". the item i needed was locked in a case. completely jaw dropped and very frustrating. never going back again. I never have good experiences with this walmart. i would drive to the one in ledgewood rather than going here again.

The wife, kids and I came here recently to pickup an online order of formula!!! My wife tracks the formula shortage like CRAZY! She has a few websites alert her whenever our kids formula shows up on shelves. She ordered a few from a few Walmart's across northern NJ. Then one day. We did it! We went to like 6 all over the place to pick it 1-2 at each of them... For those of you that do not know, there is a massive formula shortage across the US. A plant somewhere was forced to shut down due to 2 kids dying from the formula made there or something. Every parent went crazy, over bought like crazy. Our president then sent millions of cans of formula to the border to share with Mexico for some reason... While kids here could not eat... But I digress. We had a pickup time of 1 PM or something. We show up a few minutes early, we go shopping in the store and pickup other ods and ends that we needed. Some baked goods for my older child. All of the sudden like 1:15, Walmart calls us asking us where we were? We were in the store... This is the one and only Walmart that called us ever to see if we were picking up our order. Weird.... I can see if we ordered it and 2 weeks or something crazy later decided to pick it up, but we had 3 days from when it was delivered... Just weird... Other than that, it is just like every other Walmart, cheap and huge. They have everything that you need! All in all, a nice Walmart, crazy out of the way. Staff is ok, 4 stars because they called us for no reason...

Ordered a pickup order for 9 am. Arrived to get it and was told that it wasn't ready and there was no way of knowing when it'll be ready. It's now 12 pm and still no update.

Worlds worst Walmart. Diabetics beware. This store do not have products for diabetics like other Walmart's. When you ask for those products carried by other Walmart's they look at you like you are a problem customer. So I guess customer service from the floor people sucks also and very non existent.

This Hackettstown Walmart Supercenter #2503 is a pretty good store carrying everything from Apples to Zucchini, Appliances to Ziplocks, Alcohol to Zinc, Aveeno to Zest, Antihistamines to Zippos, Acrylics to Zappers, Antennas to Zeppoles. You know what I mean, they got EVERYTHING up in here from A to Z and even all the other stuff in between. Only thing they don't have up in here is clean bathrooms and for that, especially during these Gross and Challenging times - I'm only giving them 2 stars. I mean there could be anything in there from Anthrax to Zika!! Am I Right? [rhetorical] Anyway, Come And Get Your Shopping On ..[but you better go before you come] ;D

Just shopped for food at Walmart in Mansfield, NJ. Most employees are very good and helpful. The guy at the front door was very helpful in advising that he was out of carts. Shelves are stocked and almost all of the employees are wearing masks which builds confidence. But two employees have their masks on their chins. Nose and mouth exposed. Why bother? It was not a momentary thing as when I circled down another aisle, the masks were in the same position. So are these gentlemen willfully disregarding the initiative to wear a mask? The alternative is that they don't understand why masks are needed. Maybe it is better to shop at Weiss or Shop Rite; at least until this Covid-19 thing is resolved.

If I could vote this Walmart lower than 1 star I would. I haven't been to this establishment with any frequency after my handicapped mother was harassed, on several occasions, for using the motorized scooter. Unfortunately because of it's convenience I had to shop there today. I was looking for some gaming head phones in the electronic department and was a bit confused by the options. I asked for help and the kid working there had even less of a clue than I did. I saw a pair for $19.82 which seemed like a good deal, I was trying to Google stuff and that seemed like the best bargain. The price did seem a bit too good to be true so I snapped a pic of the pricing they displayed. Sure enough it rang up for 44 dollars and not the $19.82 as displayed. I asked to have the price adjusted and a woman named Fahitma came to help me, I was told she was the store manager. She takes me to this area, automatically moves the item and says "no, this was put up here as extra stock, it's not that price" I told her she should honor the price as it was marked that way and she flat out told me, "no, I wont help you." I asked to speak with someone else and she says "let me get a manager" when I shockingly stated "I was told YOU were a manager". Anyway she calls some scrawny kid named "Frank" over, who stated he was a manager, and Frank was just rude to me "anyone could put that there, I'm not giving THAT to YOU for that price. No, your not getting that for that price" then he rudely walked off. At that point I was, for the most part, exited from the establishment. On the way out the door I looked at the LONG customer service line and just, frankly, didn't have time to fight over it. I'm busy and work hard, I don't deserve being treated rudely because of a stocking mistake made by Walmart. Not even an apology was given. The Walmart Supercenter of Hackettstown NJ does not care about customers. They're rude not only to average customers but to disabled people also. They need a new manager or something. My feelings were left hurt today, and my patience tried. You guys are simply not a good store. I will try my best never to patron here again despite it's convenience. I learned my lesson. I am a very disappointed customer, and I feel bad for anyone forced to shop at an establishment where customers are so despised and treated so rudely.

Well it seems the management has made some changes and the improvements at the check-out counter are real. No longer are you forced to wait on long lines with surly cashiers. Now you can self-checkout or wait briefly and pay via a cashier. Everyone seems friendlier and more interested in making a positive impression. If they didn't raise everyone's wages, they should because now we are not dreading when we shop at this location!

I really like this Walmart. It's clean, folks are nice and I always find what I'm looking for and more. Oh, and the lines move quickly!

I can't believe this Walmart only has 2.5 stars. I drive from Queens to come to this one because I love it so much. They have a great variety of everything. Clothes, food, electronics., there were plenty.

So yesterday my 2 friends and I came to this walmart and went into the plant section to look at cacti. When we finished, we proceeded to the exit of the garden section rather than the main exit because our car was closer to there. Once we exited the first set of doors, the second set was locked (this is a 24 hour location) so we turned around but the door we went through was also locked and we were trapped in this glass vestibule. We called walmart and they did not answer and we could hear the phone ringing. We called again and got attitude about being saved. Once a random man not a worker saved us, we went to customer service to let them know they said "are you the ones who were stuck in the door? yeah we were watching on the cameras." So I will not return.

This is our local Walmart, it's much neater, tidyier than other Walmarts. The associates are quite friendly and it's open 24 hours which is nice.

Shame on Walmart. The return line is 10 people deep and they have one person working on it.

I called there twice today to try to find out if something was in stock before driving an hour to get there. A very nice recording comes on the phone with a man saying how happy they are to serve you. Then I pick the prompt to speak to an associate. The phone rings and rings and no one answers. I call back later and pick the prompt for the merchandise pick up department. The phone rings and rings an no one picks up. Really? I guess they aren't that happy to serve me. Where's the pleasant man on the recording?
