USPS is a scam business. And the insurance claim is a scam as well. Packages constantly disappear. And no one lost package is eligible for any refund, when in the label instruction it is clearly says the package is eligible up to $100 refund.

So many issues with lost packages and mail. Never a straight answer or resolution. Numerous calls and complaints. Never seen such a problematic post office in my life as this one.

My husband shipped a suitcase to a religious man. Until evening the parcel disappeared. We opened a claim. Guess, Immediately was closed with the “Not fund” result. When I tried to contact them about the claim, my phone was blocked. I took my son’s phone and after 4hours waiting for someone to pick up, I reopened the claim for the same lost parcel. Guess, the same day the second claim was closed with the same results “Not found” and no refund for lost parcel, despite $100 insurance on it. When I tried to contact them again my son's phone was blocked as well.

Be aware: USPS does not reimburse your lost packages, even when on payment is insurance reimbursement for lost or damaged packages up to $100. We had 2 packages lost in a very short period of time, and this was a loss for us because we were not reimbursed, despite the label having the insurance up to $100. I looked online and I saw that USPS experiences lost packages quite often lately. Are they doing this intentionally?

Think twice before shipping with them.I had to receive an expensive embroidery shawl from overseas. It was gift for a wedding. I paid $30 to be shipped from Europe. The tracking number showed the item location it was in Hackettstown post office for a week. I went 4 time at Hackettstown post office and told them to look for item because tracking number at the moment shows is there . Every time I went there, they lied that the shawl was sent back, with no explanation why. Until the last day lucky me, I met the Indian girl, she went in the back and gave it to me. A number was missing but I had the seller's address, phone number as a proof and item's description and picture, and I opened it and saw that it was matching with my picture.

My package says arrived 7:04am Friday at this usps location and they delivered other packages and mail EXCEPT for this package that I really needed before the Easter holiday. Ordered this item a week in advance only to have it sit at the post office till Tuesday now?! Unacceptable

No one answers the phone. Regardless of the time of day you call. I called the help line they can't make calls to the post office. What kind of system is this where you can't call and have someone answer the phone. HORRIBLE service is an understatement.
