Went to the shop after work last Saturday for a windshield replacement, I showed up 20 minutes early for my appointment & they took my truck right in. I was told that because I have an old truck that it may take a few hours. It was done in just over an hr. Thank you for not only getting it done in a timely manner but for a job well done.

I was quoted 2-3 hours for my windshield replacement, they got it done in a little over an hour. They removed my EZ Pass, Dashcam and replaced the doublesided tape so I can reattach them. Overall good experience, although I wish they would have at least wiped down my dash after the replacement, there were some dirt marks and other crud on it which I had to get off with some soap afterwards, but not a big deal

Scheduled an online appointment that was super easy. Was asked if I wanted a morning or an afternoon appointment. I scheduled a morning appointment and was given between "8:30 and 1:30." I thought that was weird but I could not make that change. Since when is anything after noon considered a "morning appointment?" Oh, it takes 2-3 hours to install a windshield so as long as they come by 11:59, that's a "morning" appointment. Guess who never came or called? I began with a chat with Safelite at 1:25. My technician is not here and hasn't called. They said to call the shop. The shop didn't answer. Had to wait to chat again with Safelite because I was busy working. Pulled up the chat again. They said to call the shop and if that didn't work to call their 800 number. No answer at the shop, called the 800 number. Someone tried to help me but had me on hold for 15 minutes. I had to take a work call so I hung up. Called back again and got another really nice customer rep on the phone, but she was unable to help. Finally was able to call back at 6:30pm to ask for a refund. The shop closed at 5pm. The technician never came and never called. I hope he is okay and didn't get into an accident or anything. I am thinking if he did, he might have notified the shop and maybe THEY could have called to say that my windshield installation wasn't happening. I will look for another company to install my windshield. The lack of communication for a paid service is the highest level of insult to injury. What a horrible way to run a business. I was being gracious giving the one star. But all of the customer service reps at the 800 number and Chat were very nice!

No-show, poor communication.
I scheduled an on-site visit to repair a crack in my windshield & the tech was supposed to arrive between 8am-12pm on a Friday. The tech was a no-show, no calls/texts/emails etc. So I called Safelite, was put on hold, hung-up on within the first minute of the call three straight times. On the 4th attempt, I got through & I spoke to a nice representative who tried her best to understand what happened. It took her fifteen minutes to sort it out. She stated the shop in Hackettstown did not relay the work order to the tech for unknown reasons... Ok, mistakes happen, hopefully they can still make this right. They said I will hear from the shop directly within a few minutes to discuss. An hour goes by with no call from the shop, so I call back & explain. Once again, I'm told I'm supposed to hear from the shop about how to remedy the situation. The shop never calls, but I do hear from the tech two hours later and he apologizes and explains he was never given the work order. I asked what am I supposed to do next, he said I will receive a call from the shop and they will help me re-schedule. I receive no call the rest of the day. I gave them the weekend and I finally called Safelite back on Monday afternoon after continued silence. Safelite states there are no mobile appointments available until the following week unless I want to bring it in to the shop 5 days later. I asked that the order be cancelled and the representative obliged with little fanfare. No attempts to make the situation right, no attempt to save a customer, just silence. I will go with a different autoglass shop and hopefully will have better luck.

Wow! It was so easy to make the appointment, and every step thereafter was very professional and well thought out. I got a 20 second video to help me prepare and understand exactly what to expect. When I arrived, they were prepared and installed my windshield in just 30 min. Really nice people who run a tight ship. They also carefully reviewed dos and don'ts for the next 48 hrs when providing my paperwork.
This was the best consumer experience i've had in a long time. Thank you!!!

I really recommend this place if your car needs to be fixed.
I've been to this place twice, they are so polite and working very quickly/acculate. It costs $850 for replacing my windshield, I think it's not so expensive for the car which has advanced safety sensor.
I used it because it was close to my work. It's a nice place and everyone is friendly.
