Let me start of by stating that I am a NY resident and chose to purchase a vehicle out of state because Toyota of Hackensack is an absolute customer-centric dealership that genuinley cares about the buyer's needs, understands a mutually fair deal for seller and buyer and cares about their reputation.
The Internet Sales Director Jay Rim is phenomenal and through hard work, diligent follow up and an awesome, friendly
personality, put me in the 4Runner of my dreams and had the vehicle delivered to my door step.
Jay Rim and Toyota of Hackensack understand the concept of 2024 post COVID car buying, using the power of technology and
the internet to allow buyers the convenience of purchasing a car from the comfort of their couch.
This is my first Toyota after 30 years of owning Hondas, so you can understand what brand loyalty means to me and Jay has done his part in securing my business for all of my future car buying needs.

Horrible service from finance department! I have been trying to cancel my extended warranty within the 30-day grace period with Finance Manager, Stephen Rosen, since the first business day after purchasing the car. The extended warranty was sold to us as refundable within the first 30 days if we changed our mind and all we had to do was call to cancel. We decided to cancel after receiving the extended warranty paperwork (which was not presented to us before leaving the dealership), where we discovered that there are tons of exclusions for which the extended warranty does not cover. We called Stephen Rosen multiple times with no answer and leaving voicemails to cancel. Stephen Rosen finally responded via email that he would cancel the extended warranty. It has now been over two weeks and extended warranty is still active, confirmed with SmartAuto Care, the extended warranty provider. SmartAuto Care said they have not received any cancellation request from this dealership for my vehicle. I have continued to leave voicemails and emails to Stephen Rosen and his managers including Steve Escobar and Mario Puentes to provide proof of cancellation and there has been no response. NEVER purchase an extended warranty from this dealership, they are very unprofessional! I will be seeking legal remedy on the cancellation and a full refund.

Toyota of Hackensack service quoted me $2,000 to replace 2 front struts and stabilizer bars (non-OEM Monroe struts) on my 2013 Highlander. This appeared to be high so I took it to MAVIS. MAVIS completed the same work for much less, $900 (non-OEM KYB struts). The price difference between Monroe struts versus KYB struts is small so the dealership's high price was due to labor and dealership profit.
Unfortunately, Toyota of Hackensack also charged me $200 for the diagnostic fee which I can't get back. I would recommend that you shop around before you get work done at Toyota of Hackensack!

First time buying there. Catherine Watkins was a pleasure to work with on my purchase of a used White 2023 TRD Off Road 4Runner. Overall, appears to be a well run low pressure dealership.

The part department guy either glases is Complete liar I called them about my order and He said We have been trying to deliver to you but after Their driver called me 3 times if I’m at the delivery location than when He came He said I never been here before they also charged me a gas fee and when I called them about the situation I ask the part guy they gave me a call back and close to my account it’s because of He’s lying to the customers,Dishonest peoples and completly wasting people times

I went there today and worked with a terrific sales associate named Jim Loscalzo (low SKAL zo). He knows his stuff and has many years of experience in the car industry. He's frank, doesn't BS, and I learned a lot from him. I highly recommend Jim Loscalzo.
