Popped in to get some odds and ends- 4 or 5 items at 8:30. Only 3 people on checkout with long lines, and the self checkout tills were closed. Needless to say I decided to leave the items as I am not waiting endlessly to pay for a few items. If you’re gonna close self checkout then Target you must employ people to work the checkout tills.

This is the worst store I have ever shopped in. The manager was rude and they have misleading signs offering $10 coupons if you purchase a certain amount. Only to find out at the register that you have to be a member. Seniors can't read the small print. And corporate is just as bad. Did nothing for my terrible experience in that Hackensack, NJ. stoe. Stay away.

This target never fails to amaze me. It’s 10:50 on a Thursday. Why on earth is the self check out closed. The lines are always long even with self check out opened so you can probably imagine how it looks with self check out closed. I hate having to come to this target bc it is never a smooth in and out process and stuff like this lets me see it’s because of management poor management

terrible customer service. specifically the older blonde lady working guest services. witnessed her being rude to the person in front of me, then when i want to do exchange or in store credit she refused and did not even try. luckily i went to another store and they took care of my problem

I go to local target whenever I need something because they have most of all products I need instead of other stores.

They no longer have self check out. Only 3 cash registers are open so expect it to take you 30 minutes to checkout. If stealing is such a big problem then just close the store. Or at least have an express checkout line so that if I have to buy 1 thing I don’t need to stand in line behind 10 people with full carts.

Average Target.
If you've been to one Target, you've basically been to them all as far as general layout, stock, and prices. The only notable difference here was the corner entrance/exit - can't say I see too many like that.
This location was stocked well and was a little neater than other Targets in comparison. If you were going for a regular Target shopping trip, chances are you'd find what you're looking for. Unsure if it's this way here all the time or just a freak occurrence for the time I was there.
I had zero interaction with staff (which is fine by me) and I didn't get anything, so no experience with the lines.
The parking lot is pretty large actually. You should have no issues finding a space.
Overall an average and decent Target location. If I was in the area again and needed to go to a Target, I'd have no issues returning here.

My partner and I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at the Target store in Hackensack. We had registered for our baby shower and encountered multiple issues with returns. The customer service was appalling, particularly from a manager named Ryan.
Despite our items being eligible for return and purchased through the Target app and registry, we were met with resistance and rudeness. Ryan, the manager, displayed a shocking lack of empathy and refused to acknowledge our proof of purchase. He insisted we wait until after the birth to return the item, leaving us frustrated and without resolution.
Furthermore, when we attempted to contact customer service for assistance, we were sent on a wild goose chase to other stores, only to receive no follow-up or resolution.
Overall, our experience at Target in Hackensack was beyond disappointing. The lack of professionalism and empathy from the staff, especially Ryan, was unacceptable. We will not be returning to this store and will actively discourage others from doing so.
Avoid this location if you value good customer service and a hassle-free shopping experience.

The starbucks baristas are scamming. She does not know how to ring up a drink and overcharged me for items that dont have an additional charge. I order the same drink everyday so I know the price. There is no extra fee for peach in a drink that already includes peach. Nor is there an extra fee for liquid cane sugar. When I mentioned that the price was really high she couldn’t explain why until I saw my mobile receipt!
