This man is amazing! I brought in a garment with a very hard fabric to alter and intricate detailing. At first, I was worried that you would be able to tell where I got it altered but to my surprise you could not even tell!! Also, he was so affordable for the quality of work presented. I’ve got my 3rd custom suit from Rick Bailey I must say Rick is very expensive but one thing I’m certain if I really get more that what I paid for every detail of my suit was taken into consideration, he elicited my design to perfection there was nothing we spoke about in the consultation, I think Rick went above and beyond, I think anyone who needs a custom suit needs to contact Rick Bailey right now he is truly amazing.Services: Custom made clothing

A lot of times, when we think of suits, we often think of men or business suits for women. One can't imagine a female wearing a suit for prom. Well, you have not encountered Rick. He knows his craft!! My daughter and I were lucky to find him a month before prom. We walked into his studio with anxiety and left with a sense of calmness. Rick knows his craft, and he loves what he does. He exceeded every expectation, and he is truly a hidden gem! Not only is he an out-of-this-world designer, but he was able to make my daughter's prom suit in less than a month. Our imagination fell short when we got the final product; Rick's professionalism surpassed it! In every detail of the suit, we could see his level of professionalism and his love for his craft. My daughter got so many compliments that night. Rick has my business moving forward. I will no longer be buying suits. I will go straight to Rick!

Working with Rick was an absolutely amazing experience. He designed a suit for me for my wedding and the end result beyond exceeded my expectations. My wife and wedding guest can’t stop raving about the entire design of the suit. He made my suit fit to me like a glove while still making it comfortable enough for me to move around freely. From the first time I entered into his studio to get a consult he was very positive and explained everything in detail. He also had a lot of designs he had done previously and you can see how great his work is. He is very professional and pleasant the entire time of working with him. The turnaround time was fast also. I drove almost 2hrs each way to him because he was worth the drive for the quality of work he produce. I will be returning to him for more suit to be made and to get all of my alterations completed by him.Service: Design

Rick is very personable and aims to please customers. However, his communication and time management needs improvement. He will often go radio silent (which is understandable that a designer can't be glued to their phone or email), but it is extremely difficult to even receive updates on when your styles will be ready. I originally started this project well in advance and was assured that it could definitely be completed within that time frame. I let Rick set the first deadline for the first fitting and that was not met. Then it just was a domino effect of lateness and no communication. I ended up having to go to another manufacturer because I lost trust. Then one set of my patterns was missing in the trade off and no one could tell me what happened to them. It's one thing to be swamped with orders and get behind, but you should communicate that. When confronted with these issues, he just deflected and took no accountability. His delays ended up really inconveniencing me and there was no remorse. I really root for black-owned businesses and I know he does great work, but I was not confident that bigger orders would be able to be completed in a timely manner once my business takes off. It was very disappointing as I really did want to work with him.
