I never take the time to leave a review but this was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had, ordered a buffalo chicken wrap that took 20 minutes to get made and when I finally got it it wasn’t even cut all the way through making all the lettuce fall out and only half of the wrap had chicken. Spend your money somewhere else.

This place is terrible. You should find people who care about customers. We went today and it was awful.
The coffee was cold and long lines to pay. The only good thing is the people in the gas station, all of them are wonderful.

There’s a Chinese guy that works 3rd shift who makes the sandwiches, that doesn’t take care of customers correctly and does a horrible job preparing the food. Quick check should screen their employees

Use to be my favorite place to eat sandwiches. I ate a sandwich shared half and both of us had diarrhea and felt funny. Someone else just told me they got sick after a sandwich with same symptoms and diarrhea. I think it's the lettuce idk.

My experience at this quick check was disappointing, to say the least. Upon arrival, I found myself waiting in line for an excessive amount of time while the lone sales clerk attended to just two customers ahead of me, which took a staggering 10 minutes. Adding to the frustration, the third customer ahead of me won $200.00 in the lottery but was informed by the clerk that the payout required supervisor assistance, resulting in an additional 24-minute wait as the clerk left the front unattended to retrieve the supervisor. This delay caused the line to grow longer, with several customers losing patience and leaving.Furthermore, when the clerk finally returned with the supervisor and the customer received their winnings, the subsequent request to purchase another lottery ticket was met with refusal due to the clerk using another employee's computer. This led to further delays and frustration, with an additional 30-minute wait before the customer could make their purchase. By the time it was my turn, over 8 customers had already given up and left.Despite the availability of self-checkout machines, some were out of order, exacerbating the wait times. The overall service was lacking, with visibly overwhelmed and overworked associates displaying sluggishness and frustration. Even after finally being attended to, my experience continued to disappoint. A simple breakfast order from the back area resulted in another lengthy wait at the front to pay, followed by errors in the order including missing items and incorrect cheese.The lack of customer focus, staffing issues, and repeated mistakes in orders are unacceptable for a business that prides itself on convenience and efficiency. Unless significant improvements are made in customer service, staffing levels, employee training, and order accuracy, I will not be returning to this establishment. I strongly advise against visiting this location, as it is not worth the time, effort, money, or frustration. I give this place 1 star.

Usually good, but why did I have to wait 20 minutes for my order? Others came after me, paid, and received their order and all I get is an "I'm sorry" and a waste of my lunch break- Whitehouse Station would not approve! At least I got my money back and order cancelled.

So here’s the deal. I come to this QuickChek all the time as it’s close to me and super convenient, but after today’s incident, with Asya, changes need to be made or else they will lose a customer.This is not the first time I have had words with Asya at QuickChek in Hackensack, NJ and probably won’t be the last. I have seen her berate and question customers numerous times, and I have told her equally as much that she needs to talk to customers better. Today, as I was checking out my items with my friends, we were in the receiving end of her tyrant, and she was made known of her nastiness.My spouse and I had already purchased our items and were helping our friends with their purchase. As we are keying in their items, Asya starts moving the screen and questions us about our items. We told her that we already paid and were helping our friends with their purchase. She then started to tell us that she counted our items and that we didn’t pay for everything. Again, we explained that we already paid for our items separately and that we were helping our friends with their purchase, to which she replied, “show me your receipt”. Are you kidding me? I am have never in my life been accused of shoplifting, especially when my friends and I are literally scanning and paying for our items. What’s more upsetting is they she spoke at us (not to us) in front of other customers. In fact, there were two other customers who witnessed the entire exchange and asked what her problem was.When my spouse showed her the receipt, she then changes her tune and says “okay, I see you’re honest”. God bless you for telling me that I’m honest after you humiliate me, my spouse, and my friends in front of other customers. Her excuse is that she is just “doing her job”. Maybe Asya, you should be questioning the kids who actually shoplift on a daily basis for which I have brought to your attention numerous times in the past. Instead, you do what? You have the audacity to ask for our receipt. Unacceptable!!!!Asya was not only unapologetic but tried to turn the exchange around by telling us to “be nice”. Be nice?!?! No, Asya, you need to learn how to speak with people, especially customers. Furthermore, with loyal customers who are literally shopping in your store 4-6 days per week.As stated earlier, I have written a review already via QuickChek customer survey, and have also spoken with the management about Asya already; but as I can see, nothing is being done. I seriously hope that this review is seen and heard by QuickChek management and supervisors. Her accusations and disgusting attitude will not be tolerated and need to be addressed.I will be more than happy to remove this review if these issues are dealt with. If not, I will leave it up and pursue further conversations with management. Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated.
