If I could give them one star, I would unfortunately this Home Depot has decided to not start the most basic of items that a homeowner or a DIY good would need. Also, a lot of their workers throw caution and courtesy to the wind so it's very tough to get help sometimes on the most basic of things.. keep in mind all of these things will contribute to the death of this Home Depot one day and they will be replaced by Amazon.

Worst customer service you'll find in the whole tri-state area. Not only are they lazy and seem to not know where anything is, but they'll send you in the wrong direction hoping you don't come back and ask them again. Pathetic and I recommend going to another location.

DO NOT GO unless you bring a good book and a tent so you can camp out while waiting for service. Just waited over 45 minutes for someone in hardware - to cut some wire. During this time 3 different staff apparently called someone. We walked out empty handed. It's quicker to drive to another store and make your purchase. Not my first very bad experience here either.

I purchased an LG dishwasher from Home Depot and I bought the installation with it. I understand that Home Depot uses a contractor to do their deliveries and installations, so when they arrived to install the dishwasher today they told me they could not install it because of an incompatibility of my dishwasher water supply. The installer told me I needed to call a plumber. This did not make sense to me as the dishwasher was put in 20 years ago with new plumbing, including a quarter supply valve. They told me that I can make another appointment after this work is done to replace my supply valve. After the installers left, I looked at my supply valve and I tried to understand what they were talking about and I couldn't make sense of it. I realized that the quarter valve that was present must have somehow confused them, as I was able to disconnect the water seed line from it to my old dishwasher myself. Plus, I had a flexible copper line present which also must have confused the installers. I went ahead and removed my dishwasher and installed the new flexible supply line that I bought as a requirement from home depot. Everything worked perfectly and there was no reason for the installers not to be able to install my dishwasher. Although I could have done this myself from the very beginning but I knew it would take me much more time to do it myself than one who does it all day long, every day. These Home depot contractors are unknowledgeable or just very lazy. I called Home Depot and they refunded me the installation fee of $160. I would never recommend having Home Depot install anything unless you know firsthand what it will take for them to install your product. I did not do this at first although I did install my original dishwasher over 20 years ago.

If you know what you're going for and don't need any help from the staff who's paid job it is to help, then go ahead. But if you need any assistance whatsoever, expect hour long waits to speak to a person before another hour long wait to speak to a manager that can actually barely help. Expect a promised call back in 10-15 minutes and never get a call back. Expect any deals or promotions not to follow through, and definitely don't expect delivery or assembly after you pay for it because a truck driver tells you "they don't do assembly" even though the receipt for order completion that they make you sign says they do and made you pay for it. Basically, locations like these is what should've made Home Depot go out of service a long time ago, but somehow they're wasting their money on useless staff and services. Just don't come here to support the business that doesn't care or support you.

PROS: This place is my go-to for quality products. Some people are skeptical about big box stores but I'm not. This has everything I ever went in for and a very nice staff. All the prices are unbeatable, too CONS: I understand its a big store but they need more help on the floor. I feel like I need to shoot up a flair in order to get someones attention. OVERALL: If you like supporting your locally owned hardware stores thats cute and dandy but when you want good quality, unbeatable prices and selection, and a nice staff, just come here.

DO NOT call this branch to confirm any online orders. ALWAYS call directly to the company that handles H.D. online shipping. This Hackensack branch CONFIRMED to me that my major appliance would be delivered on a certain date. Turns out, the lady did not know what she was talking about. By luck, I reached out to their shipping company who stated that all her info. was WRONG and gave me the actual dates of shipment. OMG!

DO NOT PURCHASE APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT!! Their delivery service is the most unreliable company you could ever be stuck with! After waiting 3 weeks, they not only missed the 11-3 delivery window but by 7 PM I still hadn't heard from them!! After calling Home Depot several times and having no option other than hearing a recording saying the truck is late but the delivery is still coming, I called and used the prompt as if I was placing an order, so I could get someone on the phone. I waited on hold 30 minutes and he was unable to get the delivery company to respond. I called back the next morning and it took one hour on hold for them to reach the delivery company to tell me they can reschedule me for 3 weeks from now!! 3 MORE WEEKS!! They said they would try to squeeze me in sooner! Squeeze me in after I waited all day and you missed the delivery!! Unbelievable never again. Lowe's uses the same company for delivery and installation. Do yourself a favor and avoid Home Depot at all costs!!!

Home Depot in general not my cup Of tea but this one is crazy crowded and insane. Parking lot is a disaster- avoid at all costs on weekends. The whole plaza has a dingy feel. Would seek out other Home Depot's in the area.

Have been a customer of this HD since 2012. It's pretty big, usually stocks are well maintained. Whenever I went to customer service, it was a quick service, never got any issues with returning my items. For covid, they have expanded online order and pickup service. There's a designated pick up area and parking spots are marked with numbers for convenience.
