Hackensack Market is a grocery store that caters mainly to Hispanic and Caribbean tastes, offering a wide variety of fresh products, household items, and hard-to-find ingredients from different countries. The store features a Spanish restaurant and bakery with freshly made food and friendly customer service, making it a popular spot for those seeking authentic flavors. While the selection of food is diverse and the bread is praised, some customers find the prices high, especially for fruit, which sometimes has mold or fuzzy spots. The store is appreciated for its good selection of ingredients not usually available in typical supermarkets, allowing customers to make dishes from their native countries. Parking and access are easier early in the morning, and the store's variety and authenticity make it a valuable resource. Despite some negative comments, many see Hackensack Market as a helpful and welcoming place for Hispanic and Caribbean food needs.
Yes there is helpful and friendly people there.. Only thing is prices need to go down. Just when I saw the asparagus 5.49 per pound and other prices went up. I went food shopping to another place !
