“Walking into Sahara Fine Foods in Hackensack one is surprised at how much the store has to offer . The store offers an exceptional array of imported goods, rare spices, and traditional ingredients that could make any dish delicious. They have pita bread selection and many pickled veggies. This grocery store also known for their famous grilled and fried fish prepared the egyptian way. They also offer kebabs, shawarma, and an assortment of grilled veggies. They also have a comprehensive range of hooka supplies and accessories and a variety of flavors. Mike the owner is known for his hospitable service and is very welcoming. This place is EBT friendly and has a parking lot with many spaces .”
“This farmers market definitely has come along way. I remember how it use to be, love how they expanded it. I recommend this place for fruits, veggies. Ohh, almost forgot they have meats, seafood and poultry too!”

This system of customers queuing
up in the grocery aisles blocks the acess of customers with shopping carts between waiting customers
too check out with customers who
are still shopping! Only hiccup however "Aldi" has descent prices on prepared "dinner" selections & frozen veggies & Cheese, fresh produce that rival the Major Brand Supermarkets prices in Bergen.
If you looking keep your food budget in line drop by " Aldi's" for realistic grocery shopping prices ! Also you will need to pay a "Quarter fee" to release a shopping cart! Don't 4get shopping bags!! Keep mind " Aldi's "
is similar too a TraderJoes - doesn't carry "hundreds" of food items but don't worry there are many tasty international food items to discover !!?”

“An awesome old school corner store in Hackensack that gives a little piece of Italy. Very welcoming and buffet for 20 is outstanding. The food was awesome, I had two meatballs, Salad and two big bowls of an awesome pasta e Fagioli. Store is nostalgic. Next time I'm home going back”
“Wonderful ladies in the Delidepartment. Sliced my cold cuts perfectly. The man at the register was so nice also. He packaged my food perfectly as well.I like Stop and Shop.”

37 Fair St, Hackensack“I am going to give this place 4 stars for the pandemic. No, the customer service is not their strength and "C" probably stands for crack, however this store has remained well stocked where other big brand stores have consistently been out-of stock. Always found toilet paper, cleaning supplies, flour and basic vegetables during the pandemic. They have also remained open despite damage to the building from a storm.”
“Updating this store, finally! A lot more appealing. Well stocked and cleaner than it used to be. I tried to find what I was looking for on the app, but it doesn't tell you what isle to find the products. This is ridiculous, in this day and age! Was sent to the wrong isle twice by asking an employee, once I was able to find one to ask.”
“Just revisited after many years. So glad not much has changed. This place truly is a blast from the past. Amazing Italian family food served with passion and vociferous Italian voices. This place isn't lunch, it's an experience. Fabulous veggie options too. Visit why you can. I'm terrified I'll turn up one day and this piece of local history will be no more.”
