I was Laura’s patient for over a month, getting PT on an injured elbow. She was professional, knowledgeable, and I always left feeling like I made progress. Laura got me back to work and I am thankful!

I went in for a knee injury that was preventing me from playing soccer. I ended up with Werner as my PT. He evaluated me and listened to my concerns. My first goal was to get back to kicking the ball, and my second goal was to avoid surgery. Werner took both of those seriously, and after 11 sessions, I can kick the ball again without any pain. Werner put together an effective plan that was part strengthening and part table work. He's awesome and I highly recommend him.I have to say that the entire staff at the Hackensack location is awesome. Everyone is super friendly and attentive and really knows what they're doing. They all take a sports-based approach to PT which I really appreciate. I think this is the big reason why I can kick the ball again and stay active.The facility is clean and well-equipped. Tables are always wiped down and prepared for the next patient. There's a separate room where more of the dynamic therapy happens (in my case, a little 1v1 with Werner and sometimes Cosimo, another amazing PT). Overall, great results.

i strongly recommend this place. the staff is very helpful. therapist are very knowledgeable, I was diagnosed with frozen shoulder, and I strongly recommend Boo he cured me in few seasons.thank you Boo and excel therapy.

Cosmo excellent therapist. He'll work me hard but not overdue it. I feel I've progressed at a steady pace and feel comfortable that I'll be able to walk without a cane. That day will be great and all because of Cosmo.

Excel says it all. Cosmo Carrieri was so knowledge as to my injury and adjusted my therapy each time to improve my healing process. The personal attention by him and every staff member was absolutely amazing. Clean center with so many machines and equipment for use.I highly recommend this therapy location to anyone, hands down.

I have gone to Excel several times over the years. I can always count on great treatment from them. My most current route of PT has been with Cosimo Carrieri. I can't say enough nice things about him. He goes that extra step in creating a treatment plan for you. He watches your progress and adjusts your treatment each visit if necessary. He is compassionate, thorough and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to provide a suggestion for a second opinion as well as different options for treatment. The assistants that work with him are just as nice. I left with a home program to follow to continue my treatment and told to check in if I needed anything. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Excel for treatment.

I have been having a truly liberating experience. I can do movements I haven't been able to do in years.My Therapist, Cosimo has been so clinically and mentally effective at getting me back on the road I should be on with my overall physical and mental health.I nicknamed him "The Comeback King". He manages to get his clients back to where they need to be.All of the Staff at Hackensack is attentive and knowledgeable in their craft.A Great place to come Heal, rejuvenate and keep motivated on getting better.Excel Hackensack ROCKS!!!

This place is amazing! Came in a couple of months after my CDF surgery. Neck and upper back were really stiff and working at a desk all day wasn’t helping. After seeing Dr. Cosimo Carrieri for a couple of sessions I regained so much mobility with my neck. Staff is very kind and they always make sure you’re okay. Can’t recommend this location enough.

I can’t say enough great things about the physical therapists and physical therapist aides I’ve been working with to get my hamstring better. Brian, Cosimo and Bo - the physical therapists I’ve worked with - are amazing at what they do.My exercises are carefully chosen based on each session I have at Excel. Brian, Cosimo, and Bo give me their complete focus when I’m doing my rehab exercises. My hamstring has gotten better thanks to their attention and focus.Primo and Talia - the physical therapy aides are amazing to work with. They offer clear directions for each exercise. They help keep my session moving along.I highly recommend Excel! I’m so happy I was referred here.

If you need PT the place to go is Excel Physical Therapy. I had issues with my feet but learned so much more: awareness of how I was walking and the correct way to walk. I continue the exercises I was given once my PT was over. Excellent therapists, atmosphere is very positive.

Excel Physical Therapy in Hackensack, NJ was absolutely the most legitimate and professional physical therapy experience for me. Over the course of twelve years, I have been to several physical therapy centers. The process was the same at all of them; I was hooked up to different devices, like the TENS machine and traction tables for timed sessions. Nothing ever helped with my condition, and being left alone on such contraptions felt like a waste of my time and money. After my cervical fusion surgery, my surgeon recommended Excel Physical Therapy to strengthen my neck muscles. To my great surprise, the physical therapists trained me to exercise and strengthen my neck and upper body muscles using flexible bands. I was never put on any machine; I was monitored and at all times and challenged each week with new techniques. I am grateful to Cosimo an Bo for their excellent service and to the whole team who worked with me. I highly recommend Excel Physical Therapy for anyone who is serious about making a complete recovery or improving their mobility to avoid a potential surgery.

What a great facility! Everyone is very friendly and helpful at all times. My physical therapist was Cosimo and he helped me get back into my prime in no time! Highly recommend!
