East West Movers illegally more than doubled our charges without issuing a new binding estimate, refused to give us back our belongings until we paid up front in cash or money order, and broke more than 30 of our things, including our TV and preserved wedding bouquets. They have been ignoring our attempts to be reimbursed for the broken items.
We’re beginning the process of filing a claim with the FMCSA. Have the day you deserve, East West.

BE AWARE! YOU WILL PAY A LOT MORE THAN YOU EXPECT TO! So, East West Movers were contracted to me by brokers Allegiance. I gave the brokers everything that I understood they needed and they quoted me $3000 (which was way off because I ended up spending more than double that. The brokers do not know how to quote right). The guys that actually did the move were nice and did a great job. The pick up went smooth. However, the day of drop-off things went down hill. First, I was not told by anyone that my stuff would be brought on a semi truck instead of a box truck like what they picked it up in. So since they couldn’t fit a semi where my drop-off location was, I was charged an extra $1300 for a shuttle fee which pissed me off because I gave them the drop off address at the very beginning and was not informed of this. Next, I find some things scraped and damaged. I’ve tried to call them (Mark in dispatch since that’s the only number I can find for them) on multiple occasions over the past two weeks and I still have not heard back from him. If I don’t hear back from them soon, I’m going to report them to the BBB.

The absolute worst possible scam and most expensive I have ever encountered in terms of moving services. Organized-crime-like. They offer the cheapest bid to the broker but more than double their price when the customer has to move. Over-deliver, underperform. Tack on more fees than a cell phone carrier. Get everything in writing. If you're looking for a timely move, they ARE NOT it.

A not so Organized Russian business who lie for a living. Do not go with these guys, they shouldn't serve customers, they are better off in a bouncer / security business as all they do is intimidate, threaten and break your boxes while they move.STAY AWAY for the love of god.

I have recently moved with East West movers and i have missed few items and my estimation was doubled once they loaded and at delivery location there was only one driver who came with a truck and one person unloaded my all house hold items and i have missed few boxes and items.

As of now, I could never believe in this company, over charged, bullied and made false promises. Unless they deliver an $2,300 move that apparently now is a $8700 move,, 3 back up quotes, yet this company cant fill out a contract correctly, lies about delivery dates. But they work u hard to believe, you wont pay that much. An 18x20 storage unit has 1600 ,,cubic feet, max! Not full and it was 10x20 unit,, and they charged me $8700 to move from a storage unit 415 miles? All packed up?

So for starters they were trying to scam us out of more money to load the trucks we were moving out of state so they were supposed to pack two trucks and move it to an 18 wheeler they were seven days late very unprofessional we hired them to unload the trucks also when they got here they sent one truck driver most of our stuff either came broken or missing every single truck driver loader they hired a unloader from craigslist all asked for tips if it was my choice I’ll give them -10 stars I would not recommend this company for anybody I think the Better Business Bureau should shut them down

this company is the WORST!!!! sloppy and uncaring for other peoples belongingsthrew my clothes in boxes like my articles where garbage and LIED About itBroke items of mine and OVER CHARGED me more then i should have been charged forlost shoesthe list is endlessthey where in a hurry and wouldn't bring huge boxes in the house for meSLOPPY and LAZYwould never recommend them to my worst enemy.been trying to submit a claim but they ignore emails and phone callsTHEY ARE THE WORST and the most unprofessional group i ever have seenthey RUSHED So they can get out of my house and broke stuff and had the never to OVER CHARGE MEno one should ever consider this company EVER

Im taking the time to write this review as a public service message. I moved from Charlotte to New York. After agreeing to a price from one company, I then received another quote from a second "broker" who picked up my things in Charlotte. When my delivery finally arrived in NYC a third "broker" asked for more money than was originally quoted to me from the first company. They then held my items hostage until I paid them cash for a much higher amount that the first company had negotiated with me. I've moved cross country a few times and this is by far the worse experience that I've had. Do yourself a favor and use Roadway which is the best shipping company.

The movers on the California end were very slow, dropped my mattress on the sidewalk several times, and didn’t pack things appropriately as the bed frame, couch, and bedside table arrived broken. The NYC movers were fast and professional. The company offers very limited insurance, and makes it almost impossible to claim even that. (Each item gets a sticker with a number as it is loaded. You have to have that number for your complaint, but the stickers are removed by the unloading team as the items are unloaded.) Stay away if you can.

This is the worst moving company I have ever used. They destroy your furniture and one of them actually broken something and put it in my building's garbage room. They lie, juice up their charges and have the worst customer service I've ever experienced.

They are liars and thieves. They destroyed items of mine and tried to hide the in the garbage room in my building. They Scratched and broke furniture and didn’t want to compensate me for any damages. Plain and simple they are crooks.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They showed up six hours late to pick up my stuff. They damaged almost everything they moved. My coffee table was damaged so bad i had to throw it away. Sloppy, terrible work.
