“As a plus size bride going shopping for wedding dresses gave me so much anxiety. When i found Brides By Young i was skeptical at first but then i watched their tiktok and thought why not give it a go. Well let me tell you, I have never had an experience like this while shopping before! Carmen was absolutely amazing!! She made me feel so comfortable and at ease which is not easy! Never once did I feel like she was rushing me and the dresses she picked for me were amazing! She really listened to everything i said and we found the perfect one for me! Im so I went with them!!”
“Everyone at sew elegant was so kind! The only reason I’m removing a star is because of the price. I initially was quoted $1100 for taking in the waist ($500) and the hem ($600) for one dress, and another $600 for hemming a second dress. I decided I did not want to get any hemming done on both dresses, and just wanted my waist taken in for one dress. Suddenly, the price jumped from $500 to $750 since I was just getting the waist taken in. I asked for a cash discount and ended up paying $700 in cash to get just the waist taken in (not including the hem) for one dress - which was much pricier than expected. I’m thinking that it’s just NYC pricing and maybe I should have done more research beforehand. Just something to note for brides planning on visiting this tailor. Everyone is so kind and professional though. Also love how the dress turned out! Cannot wait for my big day :)”
“I LOVED my Adrienn Braun wedding dress. It was lace with beading and went perfectly with the veil. I felt amazing in it and couldn’t be happier. Adrienn was so kind to see me through the process of trying on different dresses, altering the dress I selected, and putting final touches on it. I’m so thankful I found her studio and will definitely be recommending it to friends!”
“The team at Bianca (Allen, Helen and Lisa) were all so helpful during the engagement ring process. They were so patient with us. They worked with our budget and helped educate us on diamond grading and ring designs so we could customize our ring. After we selected the design, they coordinated execution with my boyfriend so the proposal was a surprise 5 months later. The ring is beautiful! It looks so much better than I imagined and the craftsmanship is immaculate. They even resized it at no additional charge after the proposal due to weather impacting my finger size. The process was very smooth, thanks to their customer service!”
“I had an amazing experience working with everyone here! Antonella helped me try on dresses and ultimately helped me choose the one, which I absolutely loved. I didn’t want to take it off after my wedding night. She was super friendly and answered all my questions without pushing me towards a dress. Angel and Danielle were super helpful when my dress was a little behind schedule. They kept me updated and ensured me it would be in with plenty of time and it was! It was such a pleasure working with everyone and the process was super smooth and easy, from trying on dresses to the final fitting!”

“I cannot recommend The Hanbok enough! I went through Jasmine and The Hanbok team for my mom and mother-in-law's hanboks for my wedding. The hanboks were absolutely stunning, and both moms received so many compliments from family, friends, and other guests on the wedding day.
Jasmine and her team are so knowledgeable and talented - they helped customize the hanboks, so that it was perfect for each person. My mom had a specific color and design in mind, and Jasmine was able to bring my mom's vision to life. My mother-in-law was wearing a hanbok for the first time, and was not familiar with styles or colors that would best suit her. The Hanbok team guided her through the different styles and colors recommended for the summer season, and together, they designed a beautiful hanbok. Most importantly, both moms not only looked amazing, but also felt amazing, and there really isn't a better feeling than that :) Whether you've worn many hanboks in the past or you're looking to wear one for the first time, Jasmine works with you to create the most special hanbok for your occasion.

“Belfiore was the one and only bridal dress shop I went to. I love that when you schedule an appointment, the whole boutique is private to just you + your guests. The shop is adorable, and Angela could not be any nicer! She really made me feel extremely comfortable and at ease. I did not plan on buying a dress that day, but Angela helped me find the dress that I ended up buying. After trying on several dresses, she helped me eliminate what I did not want. She knew what would look flattering on me, was very honest, and helped pick out a dress that I normally wouldn’t have picked out. I was obsessed with my dress from the moment I tried it on! She also helped me pick out a veil that would match. She was always available when I had questions or concerns. The whole experience was wonderful and seamless. “Was flying in the day before an important event and needed a business (ish) suit. They were able to make some modifications after a brief fitting. Within about an hour I was walking out with the whole suit, etc. Not a flashy cutting edge fashion suit, but quite classic and did the job, was certainly better than having to buy and transport an outfit on long flights.
