I prefer to shop at other Bloomingdale’s locations. Salespeople at this store tend to have a propensity to judge a book by its cover or to cozy up too much. I always feel like I am being watched all the time. They either follow you too closely or just abandon completely if they don’t smell a quick and easy sale.Other stores have a relaxed, non pushy atmosphere.

I went to the store to purchase sandals and a purse. I found and bought the slides I was looking for then went to get the purse.The ladies at the bags didn’t acknowledge us but the lady from the shoe department came over to us out of nowhere. She hurdled over me until I decided on what bag I wanted to purchase even after other ladies asked her questions, she continued to watch us. It was uncomfortable.After making the purchase myself and children left only to hear ringing in the car. The alarm was still on the bag. It is a big alarm that is very hard to miss. At this time I decided I didn’t want to spend my money with Bloomingdale’s. My daughter took the bag back and returned it. She didn’t even receive an apology.During our visit several employees did not attempt to service us and didn’t explain the promotion. I asked about the rewards once I heard it being explained to other customers.

My husband and I went to this Bloomingdale location and were racially profiled. We went to pick up an online pick up order and as we approached the an employee for help she ignored us to help a white woman. We received the same treatment once we made it to online pick up area. We were ignored , finally someone came to help us and the employee asked my husband for ID to verify his identity. She did not ask ID for other white woman who were picking up orders. We felt very unwelcome and will not be returning to this location .it's very sad that this day and age people of color are receiving this kind of unfair treatment . We even saw a couple of items that we wanted to purchase and decided against it as we felt our dollars are not appreciated at this store .We will bespending our hard earned money elsewhere. Management should really consider teaching thier employees how to treat customers with respect and dignity. What a shame.

I come here frequently to shop and spend a good amount of money. On this particular day I walked in and had been in my gym attire and felt some sort of way. I had walked around the clothing department area and not a single person asked to assist me. The lady at the cash register working by sunset and spring had been extremely rude when asked if she could do a price check for me. She had been waiting on hands and feet for another lady and could have simply taking two seconds to check the price for me. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service here.

Very helpful salesman assisted me with looking for a couple pair of dress pants, and arranging with the tailor, alterations which were needed. I'll surely return for more of my clothing needs.
