Beware of Bloomingdales online! Years ago I stopped shopping at Bloomingdales in store because of their terrible customer service and vowed to only by home goods on line. Today I purchased some lovely towels in their Friends and Family sale. There was an option for next day delivery $8. Sounded like a great idea so i opted in. NO Where did it say it was an outside delivery service that would require you to sign for your package! Some random guy not UPS came to my house rang the door bell and left when no one was home. I was refunded for the towels but not the $8 fee until I called Bloomingdales and complained. What a racket! I then reordered the towels and will wait the ten days it will take to get here free shipping!

This is absolutely the worst dept store ever. No ender why there is no business at the Riverside Mall. The associates are more interested in talking to each other and seeing what they can buy for themselves over helping customers. The entire store there is one register open at all times ....ridiculous. I asked for a manager no one could find one. Stay away ....either shop on line or go to NYC

I'm only giving 1 star because of the NARS makeup counter. The ladies at the counter were very professional and knowledgeable. I can't say that for the Charlotte Tilbury counter. I'm a black woman and it's already hard to find the correct shade of foundation, so I waited to get matched. But I guess they didn't want to deal with the color of my skin because the proceed to assist the white woman that came after me. With that said, I will never step foot into Bloomingdales again. All the years I've shopped at this store and I've never felt so mistreated. Shame on you.

I live in CA, went to the Bloomingdales at my city and found out the item that I want to purchase were sold out. The salesperson checked his computer and told me that Bloomingdales at Hackensack, NJ has this item, but he can't order it for me, I have to call and make the order via phone. Anyways, I called around 2PM west coast time, which is about 5PM in NJ. This lady Threasa helped me with my purchase over the phone. She was very professional and patient. It was the last one left in the store, it was sold out online as well as everywhere else. Threasa went over and beyond. I am very happy with my purchase. Thank you, Threasa!

Bloomingdales has superior customer service in my opinion. Stopped in to buy a pair of jeans that were on sale for the weekend. I went in on Monday and didn't realize that the sale had ended the day before. The jeans were priced at $150 and were 25% down to $112 the day before. I tried the jeans on and wanted to buy them. Pulled out my phone to double check they were still on sale (something I should have done before I drove to the store) and I realized the sale was over and they were back to full price at $150. I went to the desk and said to guy working there that they were on sale yesterday and asked if they could make them the price they were the day before. He said they would have no problem honoring that for me. It's service like that which wins customers for life. Paid my $112 and walked out with my new jeans.

Bloomingdale's is one of my favorite store at the Riverside Square Mall. My grandson needed a black shirt and black plants for an event he's attending next week. As always the best brands available at Bloomingdale's and well priced.

Great selection of designer clothing the only downsize the parking so go early in the morning if you can. The staff is very helpful

There were 4 ladies at the Burberry section of the sales floor who were working with a single customer who was RETURNING a jacket she purchased over 365 days ago. They weren't interested in helping customers who wanted to PURCHASE anything. How many times are you going to kiss this one lady's butt and insist that, 'I'm going to do this for you today even though I shouldn't...?' And why do you need three associates and a manager/supervisor to deal with this one situation? We must have stood there with our purchases in our hands for about 15 minutes ready to buy. The big return that required all hands on deck started off with two associates, then they called someone over, and then the three of them called over their supervisor. It was a lot of back and forth, and explaining, then re-explaining, then some phone calls and more over explaining. They finally finished with the lady with the year old RETURN and all ladies just disappear (yeah, they walked away from the cash wrap -to where, I do not know) and then one comes back about five minutes later to the register to ask if we were ready to be rung up. We were still ready to make our purchase there until she asked if we were ready to buy... no, 'can I help you,' or 'I'm sorry about the long wait...' she just went right to, 'are you ready?' We put everything down and went to Neiman's instead at Garden State Plaza. Really disappointing. Expected more, but most of their staff is very cold. They don't come to you to ask if you need help -instead you have to approach them. Also, if you're not wearing your Moncler puffer or carrying your Bottega Veneta handbag that day they'll carry on their conversations like you don't exist. I get it, but really, I don't, because customer service should be blind to things like this.
