I didn’t like the vultures waiting for you to come in the door to attack you and follow you around the store and try to make you buy something that you don’t want or convince you the most expensive thing in the store is what you want. The furniture is cheaply made and you can feel the metal rods in the arms of the sofa. Also trying to force you to buy the five-year warranty. Just be careful in your decision.

Lonnie Williams helped me today, picking out my tree for my bedroom, and he was so patient and generous with a smile on his face! He also made my purchase easy and fast(Given the fact that I had both of my little boys with me and I needed to be in and out.) it was such a great experience and I’m happy with my purchase.

In the store they are very attentive, that is, the sellers treat you well, the only thing that doesn't seem to me is that they don't have a word for delivery, I placed an order on Monday, July 1 and they offered to deliver the furniture on the 11th and today it is 15 and they still haven't delivered my furniture. I understand that it is not just a store thing but they should at least review and give an explanation to the customer why they are delayed.

Cancelling my order as they do not take Apple Pay and or tap. I spent two hours going through the order and when it came time to check out they let me know. I was unable to go back that day as my credit card was at home and my husband was not around. I am super disappointed I had a license and a copy front back as well of my credit card. I feel terrible for my sales person who spent the day with us.

I shopped at Valley city for the first time ever in my life. The name of the store, (Value city furniture) led me to believe it was definitely not a store I would be interested in. Then I decided it would be like shopping in a flea market and maybe I could find some pieces and throw them together. I was shocked ? it could be compared to any large beautiful quality furniture store showroom. My salesperson ( Mr. Lonnie Williams) was very nice, aboveboard when it came to being helpful, professional and knowledgeable. The only reason I didn’t give the store five stars was because the day I went in the day after 4 July and my sales person was very busy and he was all alone even though he ran that place like a king! All I’m saying, do not judge a book by its cover. The store is awesome. I will always go into a value city now that I see what they are all about. Oh I did purchase a dark grey sofa.

We went to this facility with hope of finding a new and better mattress,We’ve been looking for a new mattress for awhile and we saw hope with this store. We purchased our new very expensive mattress and once it was shipped and situated we were so eager to go to sleep that night on our new mattress, the second we laid down the bed was still and uncomfortable and not at all how it was in store, almost like it was a completely different mattress, after calling the women ( Latha ) who sold and by the way said that we will be very happy and never have a better mattress in our life,and expressing to her the problem we had with the mattress she told us that we needed to wait 30 days before the mattress would be soft and more comfortable, we already had one sleepless night there’s no reason why we should have to sleep on the most uncomfortable mattress for a month, later that week my husband called the store and also expressed to them that the mattress was completely uncomfortable and just felt like we were sleeping on a piece of plywood, they later transferred him to customer service and they told him that they could take the mattress but we wouldn’t be able to get our refund, this is completely unacceptable and ridiculous. This mattress was just way to expensive by it’s self and they also made us purchase a very expensive mattress protector that they said we wouldn’t be able to have a warranty on the mattress unless we got the mattress protector, but now that we want to return the mattress they won’t take anything back regardless of the warranty that we paid for.We have been loyal customers for years and after this situation we feel completely betrayed and just disgusted by the idea of ever having to purchase anything from that store again.

Michele was amazing she spent a lot of time showing us the various dining options. Since I am using a cane due to a stroke she was very aware of how long it took to walk. So she said wait until I find something
I truly appreciated her thoughtfulness. When zi found thee dining room set she checked all the options it came with and wanted to be sure Ibwas satisfied. Then we moving on to sofas and loves eats. Again being very considerate if my disability. Aftet I selected my sofa and love seat we looked for end and cocktail table once again. Searching until I was satisfied.
I lived the personalized service but especially the gentle approach. No coercing or pushing. My husband and I can't wait for our new furniture yo arrive.
