“PLZ DONATE GENEROUSLY! This poor dog shelter desperately needs money, I sure hope the staff in the higher position are not taking a giant salary from the nonprofit money that comes in from donations. The staff were all great people that help and walk you through everything. Just a few cons. One, it’s a very old beat down place, almost extremely unsanitary to the point. There are pigeons flying, which literally poop on the dogs and inside of where the dogs are kept. I saw dead mouse inside one of the dogs cabin. so one portion of where the dogs beds are and where they sleep is extremely warm but the other side, where they usually go the bathroom is freezing cold, I mean, literally I was shaking while wearing the heaviest jacket on earth so just imagine when the dogs have to use the bathroom. now walking down the hallway the lights were not working, and it looked like the scene of a horror movie, poor dogs have no light in that section. lastly, when they just walk the dogs they have NO sweaters on them and mind you I went on the coldest weekend that we’ve had for 10 years and it was 5° out. Overall, I was truly disgusted but I have to say the dogs all seem healthy and properly fed food since they none of them looked malnourished.”
“The Park St Y is clean, well organized, equipment is new and there’s a great selection, the staff is always visible and friendly, and there are a host of classes available. Great YMCA!!!!”
“Today we recently visited the City Green Farm Eco-Center in Clifton, NJ, and it was an unforgettable experience. This hidden gem is a testament to sustainable living and environmental education. The farm is beautifully maintained, featuring vibrant gardens and diverse plant life that immediately immerse you in nature.
The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their work. They offer engaging tours and workshops that not only educate but also inspire visitors to embrace eco-friendly practices. I particularly enjoyed learning about their community programs and initiatives aimed at promoting local agriculture and healthy eating.
The Eco-Center also has a delightful farm stand where you can purchase fresh, organic produce and handmade goods. It's the perfect spot to support local farmers while enjoying the fruits of their labor.
Overall, City Green Farm Eco-Center is a wonderful place for families, students, and anyone interested in sustainability. I highly recommend visiting to connect with nature and learn more about eco-friendly living!”
“I came to this organization by way of Proceed Inc 1126 Dickinson St Elizabeth NJ with a referral from Yair Gomez. He took my application and filled out the request and sent to Furniture Assist . A few weeks later I was given a date to bring a truck and use it to get the items I needed such as bed ,linens kitchen and living room items as well a lamps ,chairs and table. Dawson and his dedicated team of volunteers makes this such a valuable asset to the community it serves . Special thanks to Ms Friedman for her interest in what brought me to the establishment. Again thanks for your support.”

“This is the best VFW in the state if you’re looking for a space to rent !! Had my wedding reception here and from step 1 Jesse was nothing but helpful and excited as if I were his own daughter. He made sure the space was able to transform into my dream venue and gave us free rein over what we wanted the place to look like. The building is all freshly renovated and is honestly one of the prettiest VFWs I’ve ever seen. When the day of the wedding came everything went wrong on my end and the day was chaotic. I called to let Jesse know and he immediately had the Worlds best bartender Mike call me and assure that the night would run smoothly. Once we got there the party was on, Mike went above & beyond and my family was raving about him afterwords. VFW Lodi made my wedding day one of the best days of my life. I would recommend them 1000 times over!!!”
“I fell in love with this place I can’t still believe I found myself one of my favorite shoes brand Nikes the classic that I was looking for everywhere and I couldn’t find and I came here I found them, can’t wait to come back soon!❤️”

“I can't remember the lady's name but she is so helpful and I thank God for her she really helped me out in my time of need and crisis bless her and the entire staff at salvation army in Paterson New Jersey”
“A true grass roots organization run by the most dedicated, kind, compassionate team. The work they do is amazing and its always nice to stop in and see their patients.”
“Boys and Girls Club was fun and they served good lunch, they have great teachers but this year they working on the other side, and I am a student and the experience is fun and for the summer camp they go on field trips and swim lessons and swimming, if you send your kids to great oaks they can ride the bus to the boys and girls club and they have game room and swimming pool and 2 parks, and a class room A and a gym and a dance room.”
“I was there just for a county meeting. However, I got to witness their morning service and was impressed at how orderly and effective they're even as they prepared the room for a large meeting. I also met Ms. Delllouise, who treated me extremely well, and for which I'm grateful. Great work by the Montclair Salvation Army!”
“I lived at Packanack for 46 years with my children. It was always a friendly, inclusive place to live. It is welcoming to all new comers, no matter what their faith, creed or nationality, should be. Please keep it that way. Accept all, tall or short, gay or straight, Hispanic, Italian, Irish, Jewish, Asian or Muslim. We are all one in the sight of God. This beauty should be enjoyed by all. Kathleen Bowen”
“I come to swim here every week and the pool is well maintained. Easy to reserve a lane through their website. Everything is just efficient and fairly priced for their membership.”
“I can’t say enough good things about my experience at the YMCA, especially with Liz and Lilianna! Liz’s Pilates classes have been nothing short of life-changing for me. Thanks to her expert guidance, I’ve been able to get off pain medication for my back. The way she focuses on core strength has made such a difference, not just in how my body feels, but in my overall mental health as well. I also love her Yoga class, which I just started going to!!
On the cardio side, Lilianna has made working out a blast! Her classes are so fun and engaging that I almost forget I’m exercising. I’ve always loved dancing, and she turns every session into a joyful experience that’s great for both body and mind. I just started Zumba strong with her and it's quickly becoming one of my favs too!
Shout out to Kathy as well for her Yoga class!!! I just started going and this class has helped so much with my sleeping habits too. It truly relaxes and stretches me out and since it's a late night class puts me in a relaxing mood ready for a good night sleep! She really helps us all individually out!
If you’re looking for a place that truly supports your health and wellness journey, the YMCA with Liz, Lilianna, and Kathy is where you need to be!!”

“Great local farmers market with friendly staff. We did wait shortly in line to get inside, but only because they limit the amount of people due to covid19. Sign up for their emails as they send a newsletter a day or two prior to Saturday sharing what will be on sale. Arrive earlier than later if you're eyeing something specific as stock does tend to sell”
“This great place gives out free hot and delicious lunches each weekday during the last 2 weeks of every month. Very helpful for those struggling to get by in our area.”
“My niece and my 2 kids went to this child care center 25 years ago, 18 years ago and 15 years ago, at that time they were the best, the staff are very professional, very caring, they make the kids feel like they were family. The kids love their teachers and the state of the art facility. Definitely recommend this daycare.”

“Adriana Acosta was my caseworker. She was very dedicated and always went above and beyond. The harmony house is a great place to utilize to get back on your feet.”
“They will work with you, are calm & caring. Therefore don't be the ass hat I saw just dumping junk in the parking lot & driving away. Just so disrespectful!”
“They have most of the supplies and uniform bits in stock, along with a lot of other gear. Hours are ok if you don't have a job, being closed on weekends is silly, but the hours are always changing, so be sure to check b4 you go.”
“The building is always clean and orderly, workers have been efficient to correct rooms details and check on your well being. However, fare warning to young women even with children who comes here if you have a problem within the building, they would use connections for welfare, job centers and housing against you and slow down your process. If you are not close to certain staff and they are close to certain clients especially those who don't like people with immigrant decent, you will be treated indifferent when trivial things arise. It's your word against theirs even if you keep to yourself. They have old staff members coming and going and they can talk to you in any manners because they feel entitled. It's disappointing and unjust coming from a person who believes everyone should be treated with equal value. In addition, they would use dhs to follow you if they feel like you are not a fit parent when they talk to you.”
“I really enjoyed my experience here. Everyone is nice and help. Everyone I met went above and beyond to help us and made sure we had a great experience. JVS assisted me in studying for Pharmacy tech. They help with education, job search, job applications, and interviews! I personally am glad to have gone here.”
“My mother used to work there and I used to be a student there. Paul McPleasant used to work there and was a bus driver. My mother's friend, "Cora" used to work there and Cora's daughter and her son used to be students there. I had a girlfriend, "Betty" and other girlfriends, "Lala and Shamay". And I had a friend named James. Ms. Farmer used to work there and she moved to North Carolina. I wanted Shamay to come to my house. I went on trips to the shopping center, to the amusement parks with my brother and sister, and to the beach with my brothers and my sister and her girlfriend, "Juliette". My sister other girlfriend, "Wanda Carter" used to work there and she was a friend of mine.”
“As long as the weather is dry, I’m there. I’ve watched the festival grow and become popular in the state. There’s music for everyone and lots of food

“This is the coolest place around! Stop in and say hi to Donna. She'll make you feel like family and help you find what you're looking for. She's got a keen eye for quality stuff and it's just fun to walk around and check out all of the interesting and eclectic stuff she finds. Her staff is so friendly and helpful. They shlepped a piano we bought from her all the way around the back yard, in through the patio door because it wouldn't fit through the front door. They really didn't have to do that. Thank you so much guys - you're the best!! I'm a customer for life!”
“NACA can be considered a tough program but for the right reasons, the journey has been long but worth while. resources have been very informative and the help along the journey has been much appreciative.”
