I've passed by this cute flower/plant/farmer's stand over the years so our stop today was a long time coming. After checking out the plants and garden items outdoors, we decided to go inside to look at the produce and merchandise located in the shop. My husband loves cherries, and I thought we might purchase one of the two remaining pints that was all they had. Unfortunately I saw that several cherries were moldy on the top of both pints. I pointed it out to the lady working there, who said that she just sorted them that morning and didn't notice any problems. I then walked over to the tomatoes, a favorite of mine, and picked up several which was also moldy on the stems!! Obviously they are still trying to sell older fruits and vegetables and didn't have the turnover when fresh. The only thing I knew couldn't spoil was the flavored honey sticks, and I purchased three for a dollar. Quite a disappointment and we won't visit them again.

Ordered 4yrds of screened top soil on Thursday and was going to order 4yds of black dyed mulch. Was given a first thing Saturday morning delivery time of 8am to 9am. At 10:30am still not delivered. Greg did eventually show up at 11:30am with no apology for his business punctuality. He stated the cable company is late as well or something along those lines. If you need supplies at a certain time or place this would not be the place to order from.

Brookside generally is exactly what you would expect at a small family stand. The pies were great. I just wish there.was more fruit selection for June

Been here 6 times to get mulch guy was there twice. Not always there been a pain to get mulch resorting to Walmart

I was passing through RT 31, this place is awesome! Picked up the homemade pies it was delicious... The bread selection was good too... selection of produce was good ( pick up cherrys ) they have local products too...pick up some local hot sauce... My family also bought flowers and plants...Owner was a nice guy. Cool little market
