Called the issuer of check and was told it clear their bank yesterday. Come on! If it was money i owed you you wouldn't wait that long would ya Chase. So i will need that money on 11/21 in one dollar bills. So you will have that right?

VERY frustrating experience at Chase bank in Glassboro today! We have 2 home accounts, a business account, a mortgage & 2 credit cards through Chase BUT they would NOT deposit my CASH in the form of rolled coins (20 years worth) claiming they have "no room in the small vault" A now "former employee" told me a few weeks ago it wouldn't be a problem as long as the coins were rolled (I even used a coin counter)..they told me to drive around & see if other chase banks in the area (Sicklerville & Woodbury) would take "some" or I could call daily to see how much they'll accept ... Since when do banks not accept US currency regardless of amount, size, type??
3 days later. went back to try to DEPOSIT my ROLLED coins again as I was instructed by the teller on Monday. Same teller (also Mgr on duty) said I "I took pity & helped you the other day" (I still have $$ left to deposit as they only accepted a fraction)..I asked to speak with her supervisor who was off site...I waited & when He came to speak with me, there was already an "attitude" I told him the situation & he informed me rudely they CAN"T & WON"T accept my deposit of rolled coins because they "don't have room in the safe...What do you want me to do if there's no room". I suggested one of the other locked rooms it's a bank & deposits of US currency get made at US banks....he got up & said "we're done...you just don't understand I don't care how many accounts you have I have other customers". I asked for his name & business card & he again rudely stated "no you can't have it" and all but put his hands on me to escort me out the door yelling "GOOD BYE"...I went to Woodbury as suggested they can't take the deposit as "there's only one teller on & we need 2 to take it"
We still have another account with Truist so I tried them & immediately the teller Iola said "sure we can take you deposit...we're a bank that's what we do"...they were kind grateful for my business & the ENTIRE deposit took 10 minutes to count & provide a receipt! TRUIST 5 stars. CHASE & EMPLOYEES of unknown names 0 stars

Worst customer service. Do yourself a favor, just do online banking, and skip this branch. Actually, zero stars.

Honestly, that was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Chase branch. First, they require appointments made days in advance, which is unlike any other bank I’ve encountered. The service was super unprofessional. The representative kept insisting on setting up a financial tracker while I was simply trying to open a card. Despite my clear preference against it, she insisted it was necessary. I repeatedly asked why, and her response was always, “You’ll see.” In the end, it turned out I didn’t need it, and I certainly didn’t want it. It felt like she was pushing customers to meet a quota. After opening the card, I never received it, and she had messed up. I was about to switch to a different bank. They need better training and more competent employees. I had seen the negative reviews and hoped they weren’t true, but I recommend going to another location. You’ll save yourself time.I ended up going to Sicklerville, where they were super helpful. No appointments were needed, and the process only took 20 minutes. The representative wasn’t pushy and even offered me other financial services without forcing them on me, unlike the previous experience at Chase. To top it off, he followed up with a call to ensure everything went smoothly.

Kept making excuses about why I couldn't open up a Chase account bc they're short staff and to make an appointment everytime I need to be seen. Now I don't know if I want to open up a chase account since it's inconvenient.AFTWRWARDS,I took a trip to the SICKLERVILLE location and had an amazing experience. Hospitality at its best. Got in and out within 30 minutes. My girl explained everything thoroughly and very professional. I loved it. If you want great service and someone that knows how to do their job properly, come to this location. You won't regret it!

Deposited a normal check through this branches ATM because it was after hours the ATM put a hold on the check after it was deposited. I contacted customer service and they informed that I should go to the branch where deposited and let them know the issue. I waited two days to see of anything changed, went to the branch where I deposited the check and even gave them proof that the check was cleared through the other bank. Where it's gets disrespectful is I give all this information to the Manger "Brian" and he says I will call you back next day comes no call back, two days later still no call back. I then call back and he is extremely rude to which I ask for his supervisor info that he refuse to give and said "you don't need it." I will be getting his supervisor information and filing a formal complaint. In addition to closing my account with Chase.

I just spoke to a representative on the phone today about my CD,I called the Glassboro branch directly. I missed her name, but it was a young lady with a beautiful accent. She went above and beyond to assist me, saved me a trip to the bank by assisting me by phone and her customer service skills were impeccable, so warm, friendly and courteous. Very rarely do I have the opportunity to speak with someone in the customer service Industry that is sooo friendly. Thank you to her for that interaction! I made sure to stay on the line and give you all 5s on the automated survey about your service, I hope chase rewards you for your service today!

Just opened up a business account with this branch. I am very impressed with the customer service that is on an A+ level from all the bank reps and managers. You already feel like family.Needless to say, I had an instant crush on the lady with the “biblical name” (Jo__). Rainy days are the best. ?

Extremely horrible bank to deal with! I went there to cash a $75 rebate check from Atlantic City Electric, & was told they could not cash it because there was Zero Dollars in Atlantic City Electric's bank account. This is 100% an outright LIE! A more than a Billion Dollar corporation has NO money in it to cash a $75 check? Chase thinks the general public is made up of mental midgets, & that's why they continually treat their customers & the public-at-large as if we're all dolts! If you need a bank for whatever your reason, go somewhere else! Do Not - I repeat - Do Not open any account with JP Morgan Chase, under any circumstances, or you WILL regret it! Guaranteed!!!

Worst branch of Chase Bank, they are irresponsible and the employees need more training to solve issues. We visited the branch to add a name to an existing checking account. A few days later we realized our automatic payments were not going through so we called Chase and they told us the account is restricted and we need to visit the bank within two days to get it sorted. So we went to the branch and gave them the requested documents and they faxed it. I was told it would take two business days to restore the account. For about a week account stayed restricted. The branch manager told us that they are going to inform us when it gets unrestricted but no one did. We also called Chase and they told us that we just needed to wait for the account to get unrestricted. Later on we called Chase to find out what was going on and the customer care representative said that they received the paperwork after the deadline and therefore moved to close my wife's bank account. They created a check for the amount she had in her account and they said to deposit it to the account when we receive it (why would we do that). My question is why didn't anyone contact us as soon as they account became restricted. And why did they close the account in the first place and why didn't they let us know before closing it. Plus we were able to go to the bank the same day we found out we needed to so how is it possible that we missed the deadline.I don't understand why they needed to hold our money hostage when they needed verification, why couldn't they just leave the account as it was and hold off on adding an additional user until they had the information they requested.
