So I was trying to purchase a Win 73 r on Wednesday, I was using the the Split for paying,all was good until I have received an email saying "I have canceled the order". That was a bad surprise. For an explanation I have received an explanation the payment wasn't fast enough (even though the item was in the basket) and the only ring I have received from IMA-USA was an email with apologies. No furthermore reaction to my email. So it's my very negative experience with IMA-USA id like to share. I wasn't happy about it at all.

I've had good luck with their re-production edged weapons in the past, and have recommended them to several others who have liked what I received. I realize this stuff is all made in China by slave labor, and if a corner can be cut, it will be. I tried to get a $300 order to get free shipping this last time. The Dudley push dagger and the trench knife as well as the 1880 British knife I received are disappointing, not so much for the knives, as for the less-than-poor quality of the scabbards of each. The scabbard of the push dagger was NOT the calm shell type illustrated, but a flimsy piece of leather that only covered the blade, and thin enough to be a hazard to the wearer, as well as the equally poor quality of the other 2 scabbards. Called Customer Service to see about getting the correct scabbard (that they offer itself for $20) comp-ed for my customer loyality. The associate sounded SO BORED having to deal with me. His attitude reeked of indifference (probably because he gets a LOT of unhappy customers daily). His suggestion was send them back and be refunded. Glad I read the reviews about the ORDEAL those attempting refunds had to endure, I DON'T need that stress and consider this a lesson learned for a few $$$, hope it was worth it IMA. I won't recommend this vendor to Friends in the future, Some of their items are GOOD, take your chances, GOOD LUCK !!!

Not happy with this place, people aren’t helpful and can be subtle jerks in responses. Management needs to sell this business to someone who appreciates this kind of business, providing superior customer service and relocates it to a more friendly non blue state. Not to mention allow walk in customers. Military/guns don’t mesh well especially in this part of the country.

Don't waste your time. If you ask what it's worth because you want to sell it, they will refuse because they assume you are asking for a appraisal. Then once you explain you are looking to sell it, again, they will demand where you got it and even accuse you of stealing it when you don't give them details, despite having paid for the item trying to sell. They even say you got it from x place and you are local to them, despite the fact they have no address for me, gave a name that I have no idea of and clearly not local to me. They are very rude and accuse you of things they know nothing about. My guess is they are trying to get things for free. Stay away. And once you call them out, they get even more rude, Start lying and even resort to name calling and spamming you to the point of harassment. Best part, and I qoute this part, "This has nothing to with IMA". That is what a staff member that I will leave nameless said. This staff person said that from a email from @ima-usa.com to a possible customer who contacted ima. So yes, this behavior has everything to do with ima. Clearly this staff member wants my item and is trying to steal it from me with false allegations. ***added to review. After I placed this review above, this staff person continues to email me non stop. I stopped responding to there emails many many emails ago. And its after 11pm. Someone working late. There most recent email called me dumb, stupid and uneducated. They continue to assume I know of a place that I never heard of and says 1 hour away is local. Sorry, but anything over 30 mins is not local. An hour is a trip, far away. They have even personally attacked me in there non stop spamming emails as if they know me. I know no one at ima and this is my first time dealing with them, and I regret I ever contacted them. They are very rude and disrespectful.
