“I had an excellent experience with buying a Volvo at Smythe. I was looking for a late Certified Pre-Owned S60 with the hopes an S90 might fit in my budget. I drove a 2018 S90 home two days later. Alon was a great salesperson. He was very knowledgeable, patient, answered all my questions and demonstrated all the features in the car. Kyle, Walko Hybrid Technician fixed my car in 2 weeks (after sitting in my driveway, for 1 year). Asked me for car symptoms:
• Check engine light displayed;
• Engine revved, without me pressing on gas;
• Jack hammer or slight fluttering noise, when accelerated from a stop (due to coolant leaking into engine and then drying up); and
• Diagnostic codes from my T-Mobile tool (engine misfires).
He provided details and pricing for me to make needed decisions. After repairs made, my car drives like new, even though it has 226,000 miles:
• Head gasket replaced;
• Water pump replaced;
• Brake master cylinder module replaced; and
• Damaged engine cylinder repaired by machine shop.

Called about a potential transmission problem and within minutes they probed me about how the car was acting and with a personal touch said they would be happy to diagnose the problem. “Picked up my 95 Dodge Dakota that I am currently restoring. The Spar Auto team members, particularly Al and Ryan have been great with this process! They not only handled my mechanicals, i.e. front and rear shock replacement, total front disc brakes, calibers and rotors, also the rear brakes and drums, oil, filter & lubrication. They have also completed some custom Mopar color painting on select engine parts and my underbody. Spar Auto has a pretty good team of technicians! “Problem with muffler noise. After body work in rocker panel at a nearby repair shop when I picked up my car the noise wss extreme. The body shop had no lift and said they needed to get it to one. I preferred to take it to Green Village where I have had other work done before. GVG put it on the lift and did a thorough inspection. They advised me that a clamp had been disconnected. They fixed it and refused to charge me anything. This is the kind of honest service you don't fund everywhere. It is why I go back and recommend them to others. Five Stars!”

“I’ve never seen my car this clean and shiny before. Brought in my Civic Hatch for a maintenance wash yesterday, the staff were extremely nice. They took the car within minutes of bringing in it, and brought it out after decent amount ofTime. They have a nice waiting area with a few amenities such as drinks and coffee and snacks. When the car came back from the detail, the detailer came out and explained everything that he did and any recommendations he has for the car in the future . 100% worth the price and wait. Highly recommend, best service and best work I’ve ever seen at an auto spa. They take their time on their jobs and show such true craftsmanship. After having been totally ignored for 3 days at a local dealer and sadly realizing our car needed a transmission, I read the great reviews about Craig at Aamco and believed good things must be happening there. “Excellent customer service and mechanical work! They saved me THOUSANDS! How you might ask?? Story time! My son jumps in his '14 Ford Fusion (High mileage) and the dashboard is lit up like a Xmas tree. No power steering!I call around to a couple of local shops and they are honest - electric power steering needs a computer reset which they don't have and recommend going to a dealer. So, I went to the Ford dealer near me. Their diagnosis was a whole new steering rack is needed - $3,800!!!!I do some more googling to find Mark's specializes in fords so I call them. They can deal with the computer stuff so I bring it there. They do analysis (sent scan reports!) and discover the wire to the power steering motor was chewed off (rats!)! $500 to fix! Saved me over $3k.Great use of technology for the service. They email estimates with pictures and final bill! All very clear. (Going back to Ford with this info to get my diagnosis fee back!)Service is great (thanks Abbey, Mark and the team!).I really appreciate a well run, local, and competent business!!”
