They moved our condo complex up and did a great job at that. Where they failed miserably is with the finishing touches, inside of the units, that needed a few cracks filled and sanded. I've tried to get someone to call me back, or respond to my emails for months, without any luck. Very unprofessional and that's why I rated them as I did.

I used WA Building Movers for two renovation projects at the Jersey shore after receiving very reasonable quotes from Jason. Prior to the lifting of the home neither my contractor or myself received any instructions or communication from WA until the day of the lift. On the day of the house lift we were informed that a number of things needed to be done to prep the home for the lift. Fortunately, my general contractor was onsite to complete these items as requested. After the completion of the lifting of the home and the start of the masonry work for the building of my new foundation. The mason determined that the home was not lifted to the proper elevation as outlined on the engineering plans. The mason informed WA of this error which they concluded that the error was my fault as the home owner as I should have been onsite to measure the height of the home after the lift. After getting the $3500 invoice for the re-lift without any communication from Jason or Ryan from WA for almost 1 week on explanation on why the error was my fault. I received no call back until about 1 week from Ryan indicating that it is the responsibility of the home owner and/or GC to check the height of the home after lifting and WA is not responsible for checking the final height. After reviewing my contract and speaking to my engineer and mason which both agreed that WA was at fault and agreed that I was being mistreated. Both the engineer and mason decided to not speak against WA as they work closely with them and had referred me to them. WA never admitted fault but did lower the relift fee to $2500 and told me if I did not pay it they would not lower the home. Furthermore, they threatened to sue me if I had another company lower the home and if their equipment was touched. This same thing happen on the 2 nd renovation project as well in which WA claimed to have received the wrong plans for the lift which led them to charge an additional $1500 for extra equipment. However, this was untrue as my GC was onsite with the plans and they never asked for them.Unfortunately, I had to use WA on the 2 nd project as I signed both contracts prior my horrible experience with them on the 1 st project. I typically don't write reviews but felt it was necessary to share my experience with others so you are not scammed by this company with a bait and switch when you receive an estimate from them. I am hoping this doesn't happen to anyone else.
