Budget friendly, there's always something new you can try. They open new cash registers fairly quickly when the line gets too long.
You can find weird brands and just generally unusual food items here on a budget, so there's not too much harm in trying those; you might find something you love.

Would give no stars if possible. No bakery bags or boxs of any kind out. When I asked a employee about it they laughed in my face and said they had none. Spoke to the manager, John, first about his rude employee then what's up with bakery supplies. Got a sorry we're out. I asked so tomorrow when you have fresh baked products there will be nothing to put them in? At that point he blew me off and walked away. Unprofessional!!
With a shoprite..kings..stop and shop..trader Joe..whole foods..acme..within 2 miles of this place you should be doing better.

Get the app really great store brand new and Garwood, NJ
If you used to going to Aldi's this is better the prices are phenomenal the store is so clean and if you get the app you get $5 off your first purchase. Great store

Not the biggest selection. Baked goods are yummy and a good deal. Can save money. Produce is iffy in quality.

Fresh fruit and vegetables most of the time. Great bargains and usually pretty fast checkout lines. You can find some really amazing Misc items for your home as well.

The customer service I received at the register on August 2nd, 2024 around 8:40 pm at Lidl in Garwood NJ from John was disgusting. I am in shock how Lidl could hire such a inadequate obnoxious rude worker who had a nerve to open his nasty mouth. If he doesn't know how to treat customers with respect he needs to stay away from people. HE SHOULD BE FIRED! Lidl management you should seriously need to pay attention who you hire. I hope he will be punished!
