“Can’t believe it’s been about 2 years since they did the work for us. I left them a detailed review on Angie’s List at the time but only just now realized I never submitted my Google review. Better late than never haha. Working with Mike and his wife Marcy was one of the best contractor experiences I’ve had. They are very lovely people and great at what they do. We had recess lights installed at the time and had to deal with three fairly large cut-out holes in our living room ceiling and wall, which were plaster. Not only did Mike and Marcy get back to us right away but they were the only ones who didn’t scoff at the job being “too small” or tell us we’d have to wait months for the job to be done. Mike came out and performed the work himself within less than a week. He did an amazing job and to this day you cannot tell those holes were ever there. Pricing was certainly fair. Mike was great to talk with and taught me quite a bit while he was doing the work. I haven’t had need as of yet to call them for further jobs but I am sure I will at some point and I definitely will be calling them as soon as I need something.”
“The other days i came to home depot for a project I have in my patio so i went to paint and garden to get some stuff I went to get some stain for my old patio wood fence I didn't know what to pick. And Shawn was very helpful on everything step..thank you Shawn..at garden I need it some small fences to prevent the small rocks to fall where we seat and pamela has help me find the perfect one she was very friendly and helpful...thank you ...”
“Irene is a manager at this store who makes sure everyone is taken care of. Always greets me with a smile too and a nice hello. The ladies in this particular store are the most knowledgeable employees I have ever experienced at any Home Depot franchise. This is my favorite location. They are always so helpful. Colonia is my go to store.”

“5 stars for Donna B. in the garden department. She was probably the 5th employee that I spoke with and the only one who was willing to help me locate an item at this South Plainfield store. I was walking inside the store, back and forth from one end to the other, trying to find this item, being shown 20 in stock from the HD app but with no aisle and bin #. Donna B. was able to show me where the similar items would be, and bingo, I was able to find it. The item was all the way on the top shelf. I took a picture to zoom in so that I can confirm the item #. Then Donna B. went extra miles to get a ladder and pulled the item for me. You can forget about the first 4 employees, one of them telling me to order online but it says in stock at the store; he just didn't wanna be bothered. Home Depot should do their best to keep employees like Donna B. I am not related to Donna B. in any possible way; I go to Home Depot for DIY projects.”

“This the good Lowe’s, the best Lowe’s I’ve been to. Good vibes from the staff, helpful and friendly and not it a fake customer service way. It’s clean and well stocked. South Plainfield Home Depot around the corner is confusing and draining, possibly shrouded by a field of accelerated decay. and this Lowe’s exudes clarity, calm, progress. When I go to Home Depot I’m tempted by the orange evil of Popeyes chicken sandwich, and when I go to Lowe’s pho today is right there and that doesn’t torment my gut like Popeyes. Keep it up y’all, and thanks.”
“The garden section has a bit more, in terms of perennials and annuals, than other HD locations; but, unfortunately I couldn’t find any dwarf Cherry Blossom trees. Will check the nursery in Orange. The Dianthus, that they have in stock, are nice; tired of planting annuals; although, I couldn’t resist the pansies.”
“"Oh, Lowe's. How I like Lowe's! Just like at Home Depot, it's rare to find an employee, and the staff aren't very knowledgeable. However, if you want a staff member to magically appear, try doing something you're not supposed to, like pretending to operate a forklift or grabbing one of their tall ladders to reach an item. Suddenly, they will appear."”

“I don't normally review companies, but I felt the need to review Homeclick. I was a little worried to order from Homeclick after reading some of the previous reviews, but everything went smoothly and items arrived on time. My building has strict delivery rules and Spencer in customer service was very helpful on providing me with my specific needs. They provided my building management with all the required insurance information and my furniture was delivered to my apartment with no issues. I'm guessing the other reviewers were just unlucky or maybe didn't do something right because I'm currently batting a thousand with 5 out of 5 different orders delivered perfectly within the time frame they said they would.”

“May 27 ,2024 A worker from the lumber department harassed my parent's yesterday & verbally insulted both of them. When my mother was purchasing the items he saw the worker that harassed her huddling up with other works from lumber talking about my mother gossiping about the situation. I recently used to work there so i don't remember an employe from lumber with that description. Tall male with braids and lumber worker. I hope you do something about this . Store is great & workers even know my mother so i know they wouldn't do this. Just want that specific worker out the job.”

“My elderly mom and I were looking for flooring on a Tuesday night. Unlike the forest Ave location, none of the tiles were on display and worse there was not one person to help us except for one guy who was clearly busy loading items and operating a forklift. In my desperation I bothered him and he was nice enough To stop what he was doing. He also couldn't find what we're looking for but when others who would just say " We're out" he asked for a sku number. Turns out they had it but it was in a palette all the way to top. He grabbed his forklift and brought it down for us. Best of all, the item was discontinued and on clearance. Another lady came to help . They were both very nice. Ron and Lizette, you have restored my faith in what good customer service should be. Many workers and store managers have forgotten what that is”
