I’ve been washing my clothes in laundromats since I was a kid. I usually frequent a particular laundromat in Newark near my house that I feel comfortable going to - but yesterday I decided to stop in and try Garwood Laundromat since I was in the area. I am very pleased with my decision. The machines are new and efficient - and although they are priced a bit higher than the ones in Newark - their efficiency makes up for it. I also like that you can pay with quarters, or load a store card and use that. There aren’t many places to fold clothes, but it wasn’t busy at all the night that I went, and I didn’t have trouble finding a spot to fold. They have oversized dryers which are my favorite to use for large loads - which are very reasonably priced. There is ample parking, and a pizzeria near by in case you’re hungry and want to grab a slice. I will be back for sure.

The Open hours are great, all modern machines with coins or card options. A very clean place along with a clean restroom and parking lot and street parking been coming here for 18 years but New owner really transformed it and updated it. Great ? job ?.

So I decided to give the pick up and delivery, wash and fold service a try. First time using it from here, and I will absolutely say that the laundry came back perfectly clean, folded the same way I would have folded it myself, and I can tell they used the detergent, bleach, and fabric softener sheets I provided. Absolutely made a returning customer out of me. Exemplary service, and I am truly appreciative of it.

So so tired ? so today Sunday 225 pm a washer failed and water went on the floor. I spoke the woman in charge she said I can refund to dry my now clean clothes I have to pay to rewash because she refuses to refund. To the owner Sherri ever since you bought a second store the first store has many issues why am I paying you again. Doest make sense. Obviously it's an accident but it's not my fault you won't maintain your store and equipment. It's also not my responsibility to pay to rewash my clothes and you will dry for free.

Dropped off 2 large bags for fluff and fold and it was done really quick. Great service and very nice owners. Will be bringing future laundry services here.

This is a busy laundromat at certain times of the day. The wash and fold service is affordable and a great value add to the store.I came here for the first time and all the machines were in use however, when a machine was done the polite people around me would signal me to come a put my laundry in the emptied machine.This would be a 5 star review if there weren't any broken machines however there were 2 large machines that were broken.Hopefully they will get fixed soon

Scam scam scam do what you use your debit card or credit card and it says one dollar for 24 minutes or $7.50 for the jumbo wash but what they don’t tell you is that every time you swipe your card you’re charged $10 as a service fee for using your credit card so one load of laundry tonight cost me $20 when my mom went this afternoon cost her $20 an earlier this week when my dad went another $20 so that was $60 for 3 loads of laundry , with NO signs stating that ANYWHERE. Thank god I decided to randomly check my bank account when I was picking up my clothes from the dryer when I asked the girl if it was just a $10 hold she said no it was a service fee for using the debit card and my other options are quarters or buying one of the laundromat cards and loading it

Very Clean People customers & staff very friendly. Use to do laundry there but hurt my back & hip so now I STILL DO IT THERE BUT THEY DO IT FOR ME PRICES ARE REASONABLE and A PRACTICAL SOLUTION FOR MY SITUATION.

I enjoy using this laundry mat. Today July 21th at 8pm the small 20 lb washer number 7 under the Television didn't was my clothes and the light never turned off so I was never able to take my belongings out of the washer. I'm not looking for a refund but I want to make sure I can get my thing tomorrow
