I live in Florida and I have been wearing my hair natural, no heat, for the last 9 years. On my recent trip to NJ I decided I wanted to get a wash, cut and silk press. Johana and her staff treated me like a queen from the moment I walked in. The staff is very warm and greets you with complementary drinks and snacks. The salon is very organized and the service is amazing. I received an amazing shampoo service , deep a condition and followed by a rough blow dry. I really wanted Johana and the staff to understand that I was concerned about my hair not lasting straight and about having permanent damage from straightening. They made sure my hair was well cared for. Not only was my silk press incredible, but it lasted over a week, even after I returned to Florida and went to the gym several times. And my haircut was precise and neat. And most important my natural curls came right back when I washed my hair with absolutely no heat damage. Thank you to Johana and her staff for an amazing experience and for caring for the health of my hair. I am including pics of how I arrived at the salon, the process and what my hair looked like a week after sweating and finally my natural curls after I washed my hair.

My first time at the salon. Johanna was so kind to squeeze me in for an appointment. Customer service was outstanding. I got a haircut and blowout by Johanna, she exceeded my expectations. Denise washed my hair, she took her time and even gave me a head message. I will definitely be back again.Services: Shampoo & conditioning

My experience was nothing, but amazing. From the moment I walked in I was acknowledged, greeted and attended. Hair wash was incredible (questioned my preferred water temp) massaged my scalp while conditioning I was extremely relaxed. I do not remember this young lady’s name, but she continued to do an amazing job with straight blow drying my hair and flat ironing it.Eisener and Johanna worked together to give my hair the perfect square one length cut. I couldn’t have felt more beautiful my hair really needed the change.

The owner is amazing! She knows her trade inside out and has a beautiful personality! Her staff are courteous and friendly! My beautician Megalina is a keeper! Highly recommend this spot to all desiring their hair to grow fast, healthy and beautiful. Btw, the prices are within everyone's budget. Treat your hair to excellence you are worthy and deserve it!

Where do I start, I have been looking for a salon I can truly trust when it came to my hair. My luck! Violet Concepts Salon opens in the building I live in. What a good start! Lol I happen to go in one day and introduce myself to my new neighbor (Johanna the owner) who instantly greeted me with a big smile, so after a few mins I explain a few concerns I had about my hair and she gave some advice, I decided to make an appointment for a cut and color. Wow! I loved it! she knew exactly what I wanted and she made it happen. Johanna loves her job and you can tell through her work, it's more then just a business for her! Oh! and her assistant is a sweet heart! The picture is just an example of how this is more then just a business, this is her passion, she absolutely loves what she does. I was greeted with this as soon as I sat down in July since she knew that day I was celebrating my birthday! Priceless! Love everything about this salon! Johanna is definitely someone I can trust with my hair and I'm glad I finally found a salon.
