I've moved four times in six years. I've lived in 13 states. I move a lot. This has been the worst experience by far. Ken, my "moving specialist" seemed very helpful in the beginning. Once I signed the contract, that went away.I was told I'd receive a call 24-72 hours before the movers arrived, They never called. They never arrived. After multiple messages, I finally spoke to someone on the last day of my pick up who told me they weren't coming, but would maybe come the next day. That they'd call me when they had an update. I had to call multiple additional times to confirm they were coming the day after the three contract dates.I was never asked to fill out an inventory sheet. I moved in a pod the last 3 times - I know my stuff fits. But when the movers came to pick up my stuff, I was told I'd need an additional 150 cubic feet (which costs me about $1400, and they would have known this if they had inventory, because they "pack differently." A supervisor told me they had a "three strike rule" and that it would be reported to the sales manager, but getting anyone fired doesn't help me. They aren't accountable for their mistake-it just costs me money.Prior to pick up, I also emailed about the full value protection and rescission document as mentioned in my contract. Again, no response. The movers did not know anything about them, and both requests were refused. I was told that if I did not waive the option for full value protection that my belongings would be offloaded. Mike, the supervisor who told me this, was one of the rudest professionals I've ever encountered. At this point, they have my things, but no one can give me an estimated delivery date. Ken told me my items would likely be delivered the week I moved in, because they were "a major carrier on that route." Was really hoping this experience could be turned around, but it's not looking good.Edit: It took the entire six weeks for my things to arrive at my apartment. During that six weeks, no one was able to give me an estimated delivery date. I had no idea when they were coming. The crews on the ground are good. Everything else is a nightmare.

I was told I would be receiving 24-48 hours notice before pickup. That didn't happen. I received a text after 9pm the night before (thankfully I knew roughly which day it would be for my own planning). Per the agreement, I would be notified of when my stuff would be loaded and shipped, along with driver information. That never happened. I kept reaching out for an estimated delivery; no response. After two weeks, I finally received a call (from some driver from some some other trucking service) they were delivering my stuff the next day. Then they tell me they need another $500 to move my stuff from one truck to another because the trailer couldn't make it the development. Fine. Two guys show up and deliver my stuff (charged me even more because of an elevator and a few more steps). As soon as I saw the first three boxes come in, I knew there would be an issue (luckily I packed my own stuff and trusted myself to do a good job. Thankfully!!) My wooden TV stand was ruined, and they tore the material on my bed frame. Then, the guys start to put my bed together, only to realize they don't actually have tools to do so. While all of this was going on, one of the guys was going on even telling me I've been ripped off, and trying to get me to use him directly for any future relocation. Next day as I'm going through boxes, I realize one of my boxes is missing. Instead, they had delivered someone else's stuff (and unfortunately the box isn't even labeled so I don't even know who it belongs to). I try and contact the dispatch number listed on my invoice (as the main line stated is no longer in service), I manage to get in touch with whomever I spoke with, and even sent him a text message of a picture of my box ID, and have yet to hear back. I sent a message to an email I was provided for the damage to my TV stand, and have not received any kind of response. Between the lack of communication, lack of professionalism, and lack of respect for my time, for the amount of money you will ultimately spend on moving, I'd highly suggest staying away from Green Van Lines at all costs.

Green Van Lines stole thousands of dollars of my money, lied to me, and broke a number of my belongings. I was told that they'd be using their own truck, but when it arrived it was a rental. I was told the delivery would be within 2-4 days, only for it to take 7. I was quoted $3200 without a walk-through, then once they'd loaded all my belongings on the truck, they demanded an additional $3,288. In addition, they broke $580 worth of my belongings, including a 31' work monitor, and my desk, as well as making a hole in the wall of my new rental. I reached out to them via email 4 times and by phone 5, to no reply. They are scam artists! Save your money and hire someone who does an actual walk-through!

If I could give negative stars, I would. It was INFURIATING to do business with Green Van Lines. The most egregious parts of the process were that they disrespected our time, overcharged, damaged property, lost a valuable item, and didn't complete the job. They also didn't have the proper equipment or manpower to do the job correctly. Don't even get me started on the lack of communication, absolutely horrible. DO NOT do business with Green Van Lines. You will regret it.

Moved from TX to FL 9/2 (pick up). Did not receive belongings until 10/21. Many were water damaged or broken completely. It was one of the most disappointing experiences in my adult life. I chose to use movers because I am 6 mo pregnant with 3 young children. We didn't have furniture for 3 weeks while living in our new home. We called and called and texted and emailed. We would got 5-7 days without a response. We called corporate, we called the Dallas location, we called the FL location. No one would help us. They wanted to pass the buck and blame someone else.Next time, if I use movers, I will pay a premium to ensure all of my belongings are secured and moved timely. I have never been more disappointed in a company.

Everything we were told while booking with this company was a lie. We booked a move for $4.2k and a car transport for $800. Moving people show up on time, load everything, and then tell us the cost is $7.4k and that they’re not sure where the 4k number came from. Car pick up never shows up within 3 day window, we call for days with no response finally get an answer that they will be able to pick it up late for $1.5k…. so beware of the quotes provided. They can claim our furniture was bigger than they expected (shouldn’t be almost double the estimated space though) but they can’t claim the car wasn’t exactly what was described. Lastly, the salesman said we would have delivery within a selected 5 day window. We move, 3 days go by no word, we call for days with no answer and finally get a response that the earliest possible delivery is 21 days after the start of the 3 day window. Fine if that’s what’s possible but we would not choose this company again. Lack of communication and false information provided until it was too late to choose another company.

Absolute worst moving experience ever, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! They gave an initial quote of $10,000 and ended up charging $19,000. They showed up to pack everything with a small truck even though they took an inventory of all of our stuff beforehand and didn't have enough space for all of our stuff. Prior to the scheduled drop date of our furniture at our new house, we called several times in advance to assure a timely drop off and were assured that the furniture was in transit and on time. On the day of the delivery, we were informed that the furniture HAD NOT EVEN LEFT the warehouse it was being stored at, and ended up being a week late. To top it all off almost all of our belongings were damaged or broken, and some things were nowhere to be found. The stuff that did show up was completely disorganized and haphazardly thrown in a box.

They gave me a quote of $1700 and change... AFTER they loaded all my stuff on the truck the guy "mike" tells me it will be $9000 plus! ( I under estimated but not that much) I asked to put all my stuff back but they refused! He tells me $5000 and change so they took my stuff. They Had it for almost a month god only knows where! After SOME of my stuff was delivered I discovered half my stuff missing and broken. My daughters bed is missing, and a bunch of other stuff is broken! I'm taking pictures as I go along. Save yourself the aggravation and money! Hire someone else!

They were prompt and were able to help us with literally a couple hours notice. The guys that arrived were stellar, helpful, and great. My only complaint is that the price doubled after they finished. Its simply dishonest and takes advantage of people. However, all other aspects of the move was indeed made easier by this company.Consider laying out the details of pricing in an honest way.

They are very unprofessional. Once they pick up your goods, you won’t know when they will deliver your goods. Every time you call them, the dispatcher will say let me call me you back, and I will provide you with the driver’s number. You can talk to the driver and the driver will give you more updates. This guy did it for 1 week and he never gave me the driver’s number. I don’t how this company is even surviving.

I am retired Army and have had many moves while in the military . Not just in the states but also overseas. May I add we have never had a claim for damages for over $200.00. This company ( green van lines, inc.) was the worst experience that we have ever had. First our quote went from $4123.18 to over $11,000. Pick up was ok, except that they did not bring a big enough truck and as they pulled away we watch our bed mattresses tied on to the back of the truck. Yes. tied on the back. Also they left items behind that we now had to deal with. We left the next morning. This was in November, in Up State New York. And that the day they picked up, we had to come up with another $2500.00 or so, or they wouldn't pick up. We were told that anything and everything they packed they would unpacked. This was to include putting legs back on furniture, putting kitchen table back together, putting beds back together. On delivery of our household they came late in the afternoon. Literally demanded more money or they would not off load. and they wanted cash, we got money orders, along with $300.00 cash because that's all the cash we had. When they off loaded no inventory way taken, no unpacking was done. Everything was just placed all over the house in the garage and even in the front yard. . A lot of things missing, broke, legs for our couch gone. Our rocking chair that we rocked all our 5 children in and 5 of out 7 grandchildren in was missing. All in all I would say $50,000 worth missing and broken household items. And my wife and myself were left standing in our livingroom late at night simply trying to figure out where we were going to sleep. Believe it or not that was just the beginning of the nightmare. We have been trying to complete the clam process for over 6 months now. They did offer us a little over $300. They have passed us now to four people. Now I can't get ahold of anyone. We have lots of pictures and a video of that day of delivery. Bottom line don't even think of using this company.LET ME SAY IT AGAIN,..... DON'T EVEN THINK OF USING GREEN VAN LINES,INC....

I was very sceptical going into this, however, the pick up was a very positive experience. I am hopeful that all will go well with the storage and ultimate delivery on September 1st. To clarify, Green Van Lines, Inc, was assigned my move by another broker. I wasn't aware that is what I signed up for!! However, once I paid the deposit, I had to move forward. The three men from Greenline Van Inc, who picked up on August 14th were awesome. Erbin and the team did a fabulous job and were very personable and professional even after a very LONG drive to get to our location. We had a few laughs also as they worked. It is my hope that I can write an additional positive review on the other side of this adventure with the delivery of things on September 1st. Reviews are important, good and bad, and I hope my second review will be as positive as this one.

This business if you can call it that damaged items and lost a glass table top. My quote went from $2500 to $7500. They even overcharged me on delivery which when I contacted the office said they would refund me $300. Every time I got a hold of them they had one excuse after another. This has been going on four months! Lately they just don’t answer the phone when I call. I’ve left messages and have never gotten a call back. They’re just giving me the brush off. Do NOT use Green Van Lines.Services: Interstate moving

This company is the worst. No one calls you back. The only time you hear from them is when they are looking for money. We are still trying to get a refund we were promised and reimbursement for damaged goods. We will have to take this company to court.Services: Interstate moving
