33 Outwater Ln, Garfield“I have my girls attending summer camp at the Y. They also went to the Y when they were doing virtual learning and they enjoy their time their. They learn so much and the staff is excellent. It’s difficult to find caring staff. Their learning modules are important to me but the most important thing is to make sure my children are in good hands. I can rest assured when I drop my kids off that they will be safe. I would never hesitate on my choice for child care or summer camp. The YMCA is great. Definitely let your kids try it out and see how they enjoy their time at the Y.”

60 Park Pl 8th floor, Newark“I am fairly early in the process, but so far have had a really smooth experience. My intake counselor has been extremely informative and helpful. After our first meeting, I truly felt the potential of being able to purchase a home in the future! I am looking forward to continuing this process towards homeownership with NACA”
“We have worked with the team at PBP since 2018 and have seen our events grow and reach new families and partners each year and we are looking forward to continued future successes!”

“A great place to stroll after lunch or dinner! There are new art installations and great views. Of course many great photo ops as well. Because it's right next to the river you want to layer up, because it can get cold and windy. Summer nights are prefect on the High Line.”
“I can't express enough gratitude for the incredible experience my family and I had with Peace4paws, especially with Amanda leading the way. From the moment we inquired about rescuing a pup, we felt welcomed and supported. Amanda's warmth and kindness instantly put us at ease, making the adoption process smooth and stress-free.
Her knowledge and passion for animal welfare were evident as she guided us through each step, ensuring we found the perfect match for our home. Amanda took the time to understand our lifestyle and preferences, ultimately introducing us to Oakley (formerly known as Wally).
Not only did Amanda facilitate the adoption process seamlessly, but she also went above and beyond to provide resources and support even after Oakley came home. Her dedication to the well-being of animals and genuine care for adopters like us truly sets Peace4paws apart.
We are forever grateful to Amanda and the entire Peace4paws team for bringing Oakley into our lives and making our adoption journey a truly unforgettable one. We wholeheartedly recommend Peace4paws to anyone looking to add a furry friend to their family. Thank you for everything!”
“I stumbled upon this cute place while exploring the city. I had never heard of a zine before but was in awe when I walked in. It’s easy to forget about time and get lost in all the zines and books. The staff is really kind and passionate about the arts. Savannah really took her time to show me what Zines are all about. I was really inspired by her. I can’t wait to come back in the fall when I’m in the city.”

Lockers, water fountain, changing rooms, and bathroom all kept clean by hardworking cleaning staff. The employees I’ve interacted with are all helpful and friendly. Be aware there are no showers, but I always bring disposable XL “shower” wipes.”

The staff are the best, they take their time with each client. Really recommended.”
“The Ridgewood Women's club is an absolutely beautiful venue that I highly recommend to anyone. My wife and I threw a baby shower the size of a wedding there (140-150 people), and the event space was perfect for it. The women who run the club are professional, responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful experience and we can't thank them enough. Everyone should look into this place for a large event. You won't be disappointed.”

25 Park St, Montclair“The Montclair Y is awesome, it's very family friendly, it has 2 pools available, the family swim schedule isn't confusing or unavailable like other YMCAs. The sauna is at 160f vs other YMCAs at 140. Overall the Montclair Y is a cut above others in the area”

209 W 38th St #2, New York“The Garment District Alliance decided to replace the old dark Button and Needle installed in 1996 with a shiny bright yellow button one with a chrome needle. Even at night with the new lighting, you can see it from a few blocks away.they also removed the Info Booth that was under it, it was out of use due to visitors using smartphones for information about the garment district and the businesses in the area. The button is 15 feet wide and the needle 32 feet long, the sculpture is brought to you by The Garment District Alliance with support from many others, the sculpture itself could be a collaboration between the architect and art installation firms and no one artist was mention on the opening day ceremonies or the official web site.”
“This sanctuary exists to protect animals and plants as well as provide information on preserving the environment. It's not a large property but these sanctuaries are essential. It's a great place to bring your kids and give them some incite on nature. You can go by during business hours to take a walk, watch some birds, learn about nature, take some pictures or have a picnic. There is a book store and a gift shop on this beautiful property. Check out their website if you are interested in a one of the classes or workshops they provide. It's also a great place for a field trip.”

“this a really good spot to buy clothes, as well as donate. the only negative thing i have to say is that their store times are so bothersome. i have to essentially plan my entire day around making I’ll have enough time to go since they close early sometimes.”
“VFW 510 81st Street Beautiful bar facility for rentals for weddings, baby showers, private parties. Reliable and not expensive at all.And bingo hall coming soon, I heard ???”
“We obviously love it! We fantasize, we want to push open the doors to see Sigournay Weaver getting ready or the soul of Brando. Marylin or James Dean give us the message of their acting secrets!”
“We took the moonlight kayak experience and it was fun! Very good equipment, and they ensure that they give everyone a light (to track) and a whistle (in case of emergencies). Unfortunately, on the night we went out, there were many clouds and we just got a tiny glimpse of the moon. But the overall kayak experience through the marshes and under the bridges was amazing and is a total value for money! When they say only for experienced kayakers, believe them because they go at a very fast pace, especially towards the end. There is a small washroom near the river to use, but it is not very clean and also has no lights. We got drenched by the end of the tour, and regretted not taking a change of clothes! The actual launch point for the kayak is a 10-15 minute walk from the Secaucus station.”
“Great for the kids. Many activities for our children throughout the year. My son started to dislike it when the children started misbehaving, getting in trouble by the counselors, counselors ignoring students concerns.”
